Before you head out, make sure to munch on some Bunny Dango for those crucial buffs and equip a Dragon or Thunder-based weapon, as these monsters have specific weaknesses.

Monster Locations

You'll need to track down both Rathalos and Tigrex. Here's where you might find them:

• Rathalos: He's most likely to be found in Area 12 (70% chance), but you might also find him in Area 13 (30% chance).
• Tigrex: Tigrex prefers Area 11 (60% chance), but could also be in Area 3 (30% chance) or Area 14 (10% chance).

How to Defeat Rathalos and Tigrex

Rathalos
