    Approach the pedestal and place the BLUE TABLET on it to drain the water.

    Jump down to the drained room and grab GOLDEN SCARAB #32.
  3. 3
    Kill the appearing fiends and continue through the open doorway.

    Before returning to the Hall Of Balance, find a chest in a tricky hall turn containing LIFE OF THE GODS #15.

    Jump down and enter the newly opened doorway to the PERISTYLE PASSAGE area.

    Prepare for an Enemy Ambush upon entering Peristyle Passage.

    Use the Dabilahro and its counterattack, followed by Ultimate Techniques (UT's), to defeat the Brown fiends.

    After clearing the enemies, open the chest that appears to obtain LIFE OF THE THOUSAND GODS.

    Go between the pillars near the Peristyle Passage entrance and use a continuous Bird Flip to reach the top and grab GOLDEN SCARAB #33.

    Approach the large statue at the end of the room to find a large step button. Perform a continuous Bird Flip and a downward strike from the top to push the button, unlocking the nearby door. Exit the area.

    Enter the OUTER SANCTUARY and kill the swarming bats using Flails or Shurikens.

    Before exiting, locate a chest on a high ledge. Use a continuous Wall-to-Wall Run from the left side of the room to reach the ledge and open the chest for LIFE OF THE GODS #16. Exit the room through the large double doors.

    Enter the UNDERGROUND SANCTUARY, kill the appearing fiends.

    Enter the open doorway on the left side.

    Next to a dead body, grab GOLDEN SCARAB #34.

    To reach the top of the room, use a continuous Wall-to-Wall Run from the right side of the entrance.

    Once on the top ledge, equip the Strongbow and shoot an Arrow at the shining medallion on the opposite ledge to lower a chained wall.

    Use a Wall Run on the chained wall to reach that ledge, take the stairs to the upper ledge, open the chest, and go around.

    Jump towards the branch and swing to the next ledge.

    Approach the glowing mantle and grab the BRAND OF VALOR.

    Use the Save Point to SAVE your game.

    Right behind the Save Point, grab GOLDEN SCARAB #35.

    Jump down and place the BRAND OF VALOR on the engraving in the middle of the Sanctuary to trigger a boss battle.

Boss Battle: Paz Zuu

  • Attacks: Horizontal Laser Beam, Diagonal Laser Beam, Wingspan Attack, Chomp-a-Lunch.
  • Dodging Lasers: Roll FORWARD or BACK for horizontal beams; roll left or right for straight-angle beams.
  • Melee Attacks: Avoid getting too close; Paz Zuu uses wings or Wingspan attack.
  • Trick Strategy: When Paz Zuu runs towards the exit doorway (not the Paz Zuu logo door), dodge its attacks and stand behind it on the stairway before it attacks.
  • Paz Zuu will continually jump up and down. After each jump, perform a Blade Of Nirrti attack on its rear.
  • Repeat the Blade Of Nirrti tactic until it runs to the other side or gets stunned.
  • When Paz Zuu is stunned (kneels down), run to its head and perform another Blade Of Nirrti.
  • After the combo, run behind it again. This trick is most effective when Paz Zuu stands in front of the exit doorway.
  • Continue this strategy to defeat Paz Zuu quickly and without taking damage.
