Walkthrough

    In the Inner Sanctum, defeat 10-12 Purple Ninjas using hard combos and evasive rolls.

    Once the room is cleared, the exit door will re-open, and the entrance to the boss's lair will open.

    Optionally, return to the Save Point.

    Head back to the Inner Fortress to face Murai.

    After the boss battle, the mission is complete.

    Exit the Inner Sanctum and return to the Save Point to save your game.

    Enter the previously locked cavern.

    Jump and grab a branch before falling into the water, then jump between branches to reach dry land.

    In the Outer Village area, defeat approaching Samurais using UTs.

    Climb the watchtower ladder to find a chest with the HAYABUSA VILLAGE MAP Key Item.

    Head to the broken bridge area. Use Water Running to reach the opposite ledge. If you fall, swim to the next ledge.

    LIFE OF THE GODS #1: Before climbing to the Save Point, look under the broken bridge for a small shack. Use Water Run to enter and find a chest with a Life OTG item.

    Enter the Hayabusa Village Entrance.

    Defeat approaching Samurais and Warlocks. Focus on killing Warlocks by rolling under their fireballs and using hard combos. Use their dropped Essence for UTs on Samurais.

    LIFE OF THE GODS #2: At the end of the pathway from the village entrance, pick up the STONE HEAD. Place it on a Jizo statue with a missing head near the village entrance to obtain a Life OTG item.

    Ignore the large stone on the upper hill for now (it's for Chapter 15).

    Enter the alleyway on the left side near the village entrance to find an Elixir on a dead body.

    Make your way to the middle of the village and jump up to the open window on the second floor to find Ayane.

    After the cutscene, Ayane will give you the BOW.

    Jump downstairs to find a supply room and a Muramasa Statue. Buy the ARMLET OF THE SUN if you have enough cash.

    Scour the shelves of the supply room for goodies.

    Exit the supply room to the Open Range area.

    Defeat the appearing Samurais and Warlocks using the previously mentioned tactics.
Tips
  • For the Purple Ninjas in the Inner Sanctum, use hard combos and evasive rolls.
  • When facing Murai on VERY HARD MODE, be aware that he can perform his Rush attack twice in a row, and Purple Windmill Shuriken ninjas will assist him.
  • When fighting Samurais, charge your sword for an Ultimate Technique (UT) and time your attacks well.
  • When fighting Warlocks, roll under their fireballs and use hard combos. Use the Essence they drop for UTs on Samurais.
  • If you fall into the water, don't worry, just swim to the next ledge.
  • When buying items, consider purchasing the ARMLET OF THE SUN from Muramasa's shop if you have enough cash.
