Walkthrough
- 1Upon entering the second floor, the door locks, signaling a boss battle.
- 2BOSS BATTLE: BLACK DRAGON CLONE - PART 1
- 3The Clone is equipped with the True Dragon Sword and infinite projectiles. He uses powerful combos, guard breakers, and various shurikens and Ninpo (Inferno, Fire Wheels).
- 4Key combos to watch out for include: Flying Swallow + Gleaming Blade, Dragon Tear Combo, Windmill Slash + Crimson Slash, Uppercut Slash + Projectile + Downward Strike, and Wind Jump + Projectile.
- 5Strategy: Stay defensive. Bait the Clone into attacking and breaking your guard. Immediately roll away and counter with an Izuna Drop or Blade of Nirrti combo. If he blocks, a downward strike can often stop him. The Izuna Drop can deal up to 40% damage.
- 6Hold the Block Button at all times, as the Clone can attack while you're rolling.
- 7When the Clone uses Inferno Ninpo, roll forward with Reverse Wind to evade. For Fire Wheels, run up the stairs until the attack dissipates.
- 8The core strategy is BLOCK, EVADE, IZUNA DROP.
- 9After the battle, go up the stairs to the Archive Room. Find Golden Scarab #10, the Right Stone Tablet, and Incendiary Shurikens.
- 10Continue to the third floor and use a Bird Flip to reach a higher ledge containing Golden Scarab #11.
- 11OBJECTIVE: FIND THE BOOK OF EONS
- 12On the third floor, use an Incendiary Shuriken to break open a wall. Destroy the Monk Fiends and Catwomen that appear.
- 13Exit through the door at the end of the room.
- 14ENEMY AMBUSH: ARCHIVE ROOM
- 15(HARD MODE NOTE: 80 Kiyatts and Monk Fiends total). Defeating them rewards a Spirit Of The Devils.
- 16(NOTE: This challenge is forfeited if Alma is defeated before this ambush).
- 17AREA: ALTAR HALL
- 18As you exit, you'll be on the upper balcony of the Monastery.
- 19Collect Golden Scarab #12 from the right balcony and Life of the Gods #12 from the left balcony.
- 20Enter the door at the opposite end of the balcony into the Monk's Room.
- 21AREA: MONK'S ROOM
- 22In the office, find a Safe on the wall and a book on the desk. Read the book for the safe combination: 2 7 1 2 LEFT RIGHT RIGHT LEFT.
- 23Unlock the Safe: Rotate LEFT to 2, RIGHT to 7, RIGHT to 1, LEFT to 2.
- 24Once the Safe is cracked, grab the BOOK OF EONS.
- 25Defeat the fiends that appear in the room.
- 26OBJECTIVE: USE THE BOOK OF EONS ON THE ALTAR
- 27Exit back to the Altar Hall and use the Book of Eons on the Altar to open a sarcophagus.
- 28Fight or ignore the Fiends in the Altar Hall and jump into the newly opened cavern.
- 29In the cavern, kill the Apparitions, find Incendiary Shurikens on a dead body, and open a chest for the Map.
- 30Collect Golden Scarab #13 on the ground.
- 31Use the Save Point to save your game.
- 32OBJECTIVE: FIND THE HOLY GRAIL
- 33AREA: CORRIDOR OF DOOM
- 34Enter the gate near the Save Point into a small corridor.
- 35Use an Incendiary Shuriken on the wall to open a new pathway. Enter, but immediately run as a large boulder will pursue you.
