Golden Scarabs #44 & 45 / Life of the Gods #32 & 33: In the area with large head-like boulders, destroy each to find a Golden Scarab and a Life of the Gods. Enter the next area with a large pool, dive in to find another Golden Scarab and a chest with a Life of the Gods.

Cavern Navigation: Enter the Cavern, proceed to the end, and jump down into a small enclosure. Defeat the Ghost Fish with Flails, then dive into the water and emerge on the other side. Slide down the large slope to enter the Ice Cavern Depths.

Ice Cavern Depths - Life of the Gods #34: Upon landing, Shadow Fiends and Ogres will appear. You can fight them or use a Bird Flip on a nearby wall to jump to the top ledge. Open the chest there for a Life of the Gods. Continue into the Ice Cavern.

Ice Cavern - Save Point & Door: You'll find a Save Point and a large doorway missing an item. Save your game. Jump down, kill the appearing enemies, follow the path right, climb up, and turn right again. Break the ice to fall into a small ice enclosure with more enemies. Kill them and jump to the top cavern.

Ruins - Shield of Vigoor: In the Ruins area, you'll find a device for making metal. On the opposite side is the SHIELD OF VIGOOR. Grab it and return to the door near the Save Point. Save your game and place the shield on the door to open it.

Magma Lake - Stone Tablet (Left): Enter the Magma Lake area. Approach the large globe to obtain the STONE TABLET (LEFT). To defeat Ogres in the magma, use a non-essence charged Ultimate Technique (UT) from a distance. Use Wall Runs to cross magma gaps and drop to dry land.

Magma Lake - Ledge & Platforms: Reach the other end, where you'll see a large gap and walls emitting hot smoke. Run up the wall above the smoke, shimmy right, and drop down. Encounter more Ogres in a small enclosure; defeat them. Slam the large step button to reveal floating platforms. Jump across the platforms, past dinos, to reach a Muramasa Statue and Save Point. Save your game. Use a Wall-To-Wall Run on the enclosure next to Muramasa's Statue to enter another area with more Ogres. Defeat them.

Magma Lake - See-Saw Room Entrance: Across from where you landed is a doorway. Jump up to it and enter the See-Saw Room.

See-Saw Room - Golden Scarab #46: Before using the see-saw, jump down to the dry ledge on the right to find a Golden Scarab.

See-Saw Room - Upper Room & Exit: Jump on the see-saw and let it go all the way down. Run to the top and jump to the upper room before the weight shifts. Destroy the Ghost Fish in this room. Approach the large boiling pot to make it pour hot Iron Ore, opening the way forward.

See-Saw Room - Chest & Return: Use the see-saw to reach the room above the exit door. Open the chest inside for a goodie. Return to the Ice Cavern, saving your game at the Magma Lake first.

Ice Cavern - Cog of Vigoor: Make your way back to the Ruins (where you found the SHIELD OF VIGOOR) to find the COG OF VIGOOR.

Ice Cavern - Golden Scarab #47: Next to the Save Point where you find the COG OF VIGOOR, there is a Golden Scarab across from it. Save your game. Approach the ice chunk in the corner and slam it to enter a new area.

Boss Battle: Yotunfrau: This section leads into the boss battle against Yotunfrau.

Art of the Inazuma: After defeating Yotunfrau, use a Bird Flip to reach the top of the room. Flip over the ledge and drop down to catch the next ledge. Jump up to open the chest and obtain the ART OF THE INAZUMA Ninpo Scroll. Jump down and Bird Flip to the top, then return to the Magma Cavern.

Magma Lake - Preparation: Go to the Save Point in the Magma Lake area, save your game, and replenish stock at Muramasa's Statue.

Magma Lake - Door & Boss Battle: Place the COG OF VIGOOR on the door next to the Save Point and enter for another boss battle.

Boss Battle: Flame Worm X2: This section leads into the boss battle against two Flame Worms.

Magma Lake - Final Door: Stock up at Muramasa's and save your game. Across from the Magma Lake is a large ledge with a doorway featuring a face. Slam the step button to raise floating platforms, then run and jump up to the face door. Place the EYE OF ICE and the EYE OF FLAME on the door to open it.

Boss Battle: Smaugan: Approach the mantle and grab the DEVIL DIETY statue to trigger the final boss battle of this part, against Smaugan.
