Main Mission: The Mysterious 1 Night castle

Start by heading towards the fort. You'll encounter a Kurasu Tengu before a bridge. Below the bridge is a dark realm with a Waira and the first Kodama. You can choose to go under the bridge now or after crossing it.

Enter the flooded fort area. Go inside a house to fight a Yamanba. Exit through the back and proceed to a bridge with a lever.

Use the lever to drain the water, allowing you to cross the bridge. After crossing, you can talk to Kukuru, who will join you. The second shrine is located here.

Optionally, go down the ladder on the bridge to fight a Nure Onna and a Ko-umi Bozu. A chest is also located here.

The path forks. Take the right path; the left is a dead end for now.

Continue on the right path, defeating an Enki and a Gaki.

The path forks again. The right path leads to a small hut with many soldiers and a Hunter. The left path leads downhill to a Waira sub-boss. You will need to clear both areas.

Defeat the Waira sub-boss. You can open a gate nearby, but you'll return to it later. To the left of the gate, downhill, you'll find a Sudama.

Return to the small house and defeat the enemies outside.

Take the path to your left. Enter a building and fight your way to the top floor.

On the top floor, go out onto the balcony and find stairs leading down to wooden scaffolding. You will find the second Kodama here.

Head back and go through the gate you previously encountered. Defeat the Yamanba and the Aberrant Soldier.

Follow the path and go left at the fork. Move past a house and use a lever to lower a bridge. This creates a shortcut to the shrine and opens a new area below, accessible via a ladder on the bridge.

As you proceed, be cautious when going under a bridge, as a Ko-umi Bozu and Nure Onna are waiting on top.

After passing them, you'll find a Nuri Kabe. A nearby grave may hint at the wrong emote to use. Try to avoid fighting it. Behind the Nuri Kabe is a chest.

Defeat the Waira that appears. Climb a ladder at the end of the path to find the third Kodama. You are now in a building you saw earlier.

Inside this building, go upstairs. Go out onto the balcony and jump down where there is no railing. You'll land on a lower roof with the fourth Kodama nearby.

Drop down, re-enter the building, and go to the top floor balcony. Cross the bridge, defeating enemies. Enter the building, defeat the Yamanba, go downstairs, and open a door to create a shortcut to the next shrine.

Exit into the dark realm outside and defeat the Karasu Tengu to dispel it.

Proceed into the fortress to a white tent with two open chests and two Gaki. The fifth Kodama is here.

Return to the building where you fought the Karasu Tengu and exit through its other entrance. A chest is to the right. The path to the left leads to a bridge (and an Enki sub-boss) and a hot spring. Your ally will mention the hot spring and then stop following you.

You will now move linearly until reaching a fork. One path leads to a dark realm caused by an Enki. Defeat it to dispel the dark realm. In the house behind the Yokai is a lever to lower a bridge, leading back towards the second shrine and the hot spring. A ladder from here leads down to a third shrine.

From the third shrine, there are two paths. One goes further in, the other into a cave (a dead end with a Lesser Umi Bozu).

Take the other path. It forks ahead. Go right to fight a Karasu Tengu, then open a treasure chest in a cave.

Follow the right path, go up a ladder, and find a second Sudama. Continue until you fight and defeat an Aberrant Soldier. Drop down to kill another one below; the sixth Kodama is next to you.

Go back up the ladder from the third shrine and follow the path along the river, defeating an Enki sub-boss.

Continue along the linear path until you reach a house with a lever outside. Go inside and out the back for the second hot spring.

Lower the bridge. This leads back to the first shrine. Backtrack to find a path further into the forest leading to the boss.

Boss Fight: Kamaitachi - This boss is relatively easy, with weaker defenses and faster Ki/health loss than previous bosses. It is fast and uses slicing attacks. Keep up the offense to win quickly.
