This guide provides a comprehensive list of Smithing Texts obtainable in Nioh 2, focusing on those acquired through drops and in New Game Plus (NG+), excluding normal story progression ones. It also details strategies for efficiently farming these rare items.

Farming Strategy: To maximize your chances of obtaining Smithing Texts, it is recommended to:

Set your Kodama blessing to 'Materials'.
Utilize a Luck-boosting build.
Focus on fast enemy elimination.
Ensure your equipment has stats like Luck, Item Drop Rate, and Item Drop Rate vs. Humans/Yokai.
Consider using the Nine-Tails Fox Guardian Spirit with Soul Cores that boost Luck (Yokai Shift) and Item Drop Rate.
Entering a Yokai Shift for the killing blow can increase drop chances, though it does not guarantee a drop.
Skills from the Samurai and Shiftling skill trees can also increase drop rates under specific conditions.

Note that some missions, particularly Dojo missions, do not allow the use of weapons, ranged weapons, or Guardian Spirits, making the grind for specific texts more challenging.

Arts of Combat: Several human bosses drop rare 'Arts of Combat' skills, which are added to their respective skill trees upon acquisition. These are as rare as, or rarer than, Smithing Texts.
