Learn how to find and defeat the Garuda Pirate Gardar bounty in One Piece Odyssey. This guide covers enemy weaknesses and recommended strategies to overcome this challenging fight.

Alright, so you're looking to take down Garuda Pirate Gardar? This bounty won't pop up until you've finished the Mediator Marzin’s Quest in Nanohana of Alabasta. Once that's done, head back to the tavern and check the bulletin board – you'll see a new list of bounties, including Gardar's. His poster says he's chilling in the Bone Bridge Canyon area of the Great Sandy Desert.

Now, you won't be able to get to Bone Bridge Canyon right away. Just keep playing through the main story; you'll eventually need to pass through it to get to Rainbase. Once you've unlocked it, make your way to the southwestern part of the canyon. Look for an abandoned cart – if you've picked up the bounty from the bulletin board, it'll have the wanted poster marker on it. Give that cart a good inspect, and Gardar and his crew will show up for a fight.

Strategy:

  • This fight throws six enemies at you, which can be pretty hectic. Luckily, most of them are the 'Technique' type. This means you should probably avoid bringing your 'Power' type characters like Chopper, Luffy, and Sanji, as they might not be as effective.
  • Most enemies stick to basic attacks, so you won't face too many crazy special moves. The main threat is Imitation Green, who can trigger a Dramatic Scene and become a bit tougher.
  • Your top priority should be taking out Imitation Pink first. She's the one with the ability to 'Heal' her allies, so getting rid of her early will make the rest of the fight much smoother.
  • Nami's 'Thunderbolt Tempo' is a fantastic move here. It deals extra damage to most of the enemies and has a good chance to inflict paralysis, which can really help control the battlefield.
  • Keep an eye on your allies' HP and try to keep it above half. It can get a bit chaotic, but once you start thinning out the enemy numbers, it becomes much more manageable.
