Alright, let's track down those Yaya Cubes in the Desert Near Alubarna! There are only four of them in this area, and thankfully, they're pretty straightforward to grab. You'll want to have the Interactive Map handy, as it'll show you markers for each one.

Yaya Cube #1

You'll find the first Yaya Cube right near where you first enter the Royal Army Garrison. You need to have access to the Garrison, which happens almost immediately after you arrive. Just after you pass the first two guards, look to your south. You'll see a canopy, and next to it, a breakable pot. Smash that pot to get your first Yaya Cube!

Yaya Cube #2

For the second Yaya Cube, keep going through the Royal Army Garrison until you reach the northern gate and trigger a cutscene. Once that's done, hop onto the ladder on either side of the gate to get to the top. Right in the middle of the walkway up there, you'll spot two breakable objects. The Yaya Cube is hidden inside the breakable crate.

After grabbing the last one, head back down to ground level and exit through the northern gate. As soon as you're outside, turn north and run past the cannons. Keep an eye out for a breakable barrel tucked away in a corner, near some wooden fencing. Give it a good whack to get your third Yaya Cube.

Yaya Cube #4

Now, this last Yaya Cube requires you to wait until Chapter 3. It's located in the Rebel Army Camp, which you can't access during Chapter 2. Once you progress the story a bit in Chapter 3 and head back to Alabasta for a quick errand, make your way to the Rebel Army Camp. Look for a small piece of land sticking out in the northeastern corner of the base. There's a wooden crate at the very end of it – break that to find the final Yaya Cube in this area!
