DLC Part 2: The Indigo Disk

So, you've finished up with The Teal Mask and the main story of Pokémon Scarlet or Violet? Great! That means you're ready to dive into **The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk**. This is the second part of the DLC, and it drops you into a whole new environment: Blueberry Academy, located in the Unova region. You'll be invited as an exchange student by the director, Cyrano, after a recommendation from Carmine. At Blueberry Academy, you'll get to explore the Terarium, a massive underwater dome with four distinct biomes, and even get to use the Terastal phenomenon thanks to a special Terarium Core designed by Briar. You'll also meet Carmine's brother, Kieran, who's become really obsessed with getting stronger after your last trip to Kitakami. He's even a bit rude now, all focused on beating you. Drayton, one of the academy's Elite Four, will introduce you to the BB League, which is basically Blueberry Academy's version of the Pokémon League. Turns out, Kieran is the current Champion after taking down Drayton! Even though you're just an exchange student, Drayton thinks you should challenge the BB League. After a vote, you'll get to skip ahead and challenge the Elite Four directly. Each of them is in one of the Terarium's biomes, and you'll have to complete an Elite Trial before you can battle them. Once you beat all four Elite Four members, it's time to face Kieran. It's a tough battle, but you'll come out on top as the new BB League Champion. This might be a bit of a shock for Kieran, as all his hard work seems to have been for nothing. After your victory, you, Carmine, Kieran, and Drayton will meet with Briar. She's got permission from the Paldean Pokémon League to explore Area Zero in the Great Crater of Paldea. Her goal is to find the Legendary Pokémon Terapagos and prove Heath's research. Kieran, still wanting to beat you, decides to tag along to try and catch Terapagos himself. Drayton, however, isn't interested in traveling all the way to Paldea and stays behind. Before you head off, Geeta and Rika will meet you. Geeta will give you a mysterious artifact called the Indigo Disk, which was found by an Area Zero researcher. Back in Area Zero, you'll head to the Zero Lab with Carmine, Kieran, and Briar. Here, you'll discover the Indigo Disk's true purpose: it can redirect the facility's elevator even deeper, past the time machine room, into the Area Zero Underdepths. As you explore this crystal-filled cave, you'll learn about the Stellar Tera Type. At the bottom, you'll find a crystal that Briar believes is the dormant form of Terapagos. When Terapagos awakens, it tries to approach you, but Kieran, not wanting another Legendary Pokémon to join you, catches it with a Master Ball! Briar wants to see Terapagos in action, so you'll battle Kieran. Even with Terapagos, he still loses. Briar realizes Terapagos isn't at full power and tells Kieran to use his Tera Orb on it. This causes Terapagos's power to go wild, even breaking its Master Ball! You and Carmine will have to battle Terapagos, but Carmine loses quickly. Terapagos starts absorbing Terastal energy. After some encouragement from Carmine, Kieran teams up with you. Together, you'll overpower Terapagos. This time, Kieran is okay with you catching it, and you'll reconcile as you head back to Blueberry Academy, marking the end of The Indigo Disk's main story. After all this, Briar will publish a book about your expedition and give you a copy. If you take Terapagos to the Crystal Pool in Kitakami, a strange mist will appear, and out of it emerges Professor Sada (Scarlet) or Professor Turo (Violet)!
