Alright, let's dive into Part 16 of our Prey adventure. We're starting off with some nice finds right away. You'll snag two pieces of USED PLASTIC TUBING and the EMP SHIELDING 19.4GHZ chipset. This little beauty cuts down EMP damage to your suit and weapons, which is super handy. If you've got a spare suit slot, definitely slap it in!

Before we head out, take a peek under the stairs and behind that red glowing bit on the wall – you'll find two bottles of DUCK BEER. Now, let's exit and head left towards our next objective. January's gonna give us a call and update things: we need to find Dr. Calvino's workshop keycard. There's also an optional objective to use a security station to pinpoint his location in the Hardware Labs.

Keep moving past the door and check the toolbox for some SPARE PARTS and a CORRODED COIL. You'll spot another CORRODED COIL, a BURNT CIRCUIT BOARD, and some FRAYED WIRE. Nearby, there's more USED PLASTIC TUBING on a crate, covering a maintenance shaft. If you haven't picked up the 'Leverage I' skill yet, now's a good time to consider it, though the Ballistics Lab was the place for it. This shaft leads to the 'Machine Shop,' which we've already powered up, so it's just another way in. We'll head back and go through the main entrance, but first, let's do some exploring upstairs.

The Atrium (Upstairs)

Before we barge into the main fight area, let's take a quick detour upstairs. Use the central elevator to get up there fast. You'll find 'Miyu Okabe's Corpse' – loot her for a BROKEN COOLER FAN, SPARE PARTS, and the TRANSCRIBE: MIYU OKABE.

Head left from there. Remember this area? Keep going to the corner and check where the cargo smashed through the rails; there's SPARE PARTS on top of the ceiling. Further down, you'll find the 'Beams and Waves Lab' / 'Combustion Lab.' Head inside and look left – this will update another optional objective: find the Artax Propulsion System fabrication plan in the Hardware Labs.

Ooo, look! It's Dr. Calvino himself, floating out there with his keycard! This might get interesting. Head back out and continue, jumping the gap in the corner. You'll reach a monument with a SILENCED PISTOL and four rounds of 9MM BULLETS next to it.

Press on to the door in the corner, which leads to the 'Medical Bay.' Grab the MEDKIT FABRICATION PLAN and a MEDKIT. There's an access panel here too, so open it up and head inside. Don't forget the OPERATOR DISPENSER if you need a quick heal.

Inside, you'll find a BURNT CIRCUIT BOARD on the right. Watch out for mimics further in. As you turn right after the circuit board, check the far wall's right corner – there's likely a mimic waiting to pounce! Past that is the exit, guarded by two explosive containers (one of them is a mimic!). Take him out, or just shoot the canisters. Nearby, you'll find some USED PLASTIC TUBING and two pieces of FRAYED WIRE.

Now, there's a maintenance hatch nearby. Usually, I prefer entering new areas through the front door, but we're making an exception here for a good reason. Go ahead and open that hatch and step into the next area.

(Note: If you still have a working TURRET, you might want to skip this path for now and use the front entrance instead. This room is crawling with two Phantoms and two Flame Operators, and your turret could be a huge help. I went downstairs myself and let my turrets handle those enemies.)

Machine Shop

We've finally made it to the Machine Shop. If you're following along, you should be just outside a vent, on a duct. Do a quick save here, then head left, following the duct upwards. Aim for the orange beam ahead and look up. See that girder? We want to jump up and get onto it – that's why we quicksaved.

From up there, you can get above the cable car. Go past it, and to the left, you'll spot a hideout way up on the ceiling. Use the pipes to reach it and grab a HUNTRESS BOLTCASTER, three LEXIFOAM BOLTS, two bottles of OLD SARDAR BOURBON, and the CLIVE WAS HERE NOTE.

Okay, quicksave again. Head back to that orange car you passed. Dropping onto it can be a bit tricky, but using the mask X to climb can help. Up here, you'll find 'Peter Coleman's Corpse,' along with a BROKEN COOLER FAN, an EMP CHARGE, and a NEUROMOD. There's also a supply crate below with some BIOHAZARD WASTE, a MEDKIT, and an EXPIRED PLASMA BAG.

There's one more cable car in this area we should check out. Before we do, drop down to the floor. You'll find three mimics and another Operator in the back. There's a broken turret by the airlock – repair it if you want, then hunt down those enemies. Once the area is clear, head to the cable car in the back. We can get up to it without dropping from the ceiling. Facing it, notice the whiteboard to your left, then go around it to find a spot to climb onto the cable car.

Up here, you'll find two EMP CHARGE items and 'Franklin Goode's Corpse.' Loot him for a BURNT CIRCUIT BOARD, SPARE PARTS, and another EMP CHARGE. Now, let's jump over to the upper work-area directly across from us to continue our scavenging. You'll find a recycler and a fabricator up here – nice!

One of the workstations has SYNTHETIC MATERIAL 1.0, ORGANIC MATERIAL 2.0, and MINERAL MATERIAL 2.0 on the floor nearby. More importantly, you'll find our goal: the ARTAX PROPULSION SYSTEM FABRICATION PLAN on the desk. There's also a TRANSTAR UNIFORM GUIDE here (apparently, uniform color means something!).
