Walkthrough

- 2Turn around, follow the hallway, and run up the walls. At the end, drink from the fountain to start the Life Upgrade hallway.
- 3At the beginning of the Life Upgrade hallway, wait for the two Panel Traps to start descending, then run forward to the beam.
- 4Wait for the arrow traps to fire, then jump to the next set of beams. Move to the center of the cross formed by the beams.
- 5Wait for the arrows ahead to fire, then quickly move to the end of the beam and jump to the next set of beams, climbing up to avoid damage.
- 6Move left to the next beam, then forward to the edge. Wait for the lowest sliding ledge to retract and reappear, then jump to it.
- 7Very quickly jump to the ledges above as they appear. Run into the light to get the Life Upgrade.
- 8Drop from the switch and run into the nearest doorway to reach the next area.
- 9In the Arena, use the fountain if desired. Smash pots on the left for sand if needed. Turn right and head into the arena to face Klompa.
Boss: Klompa
Stats / Weaknesses:
- Klompa has a grab attack that does little damage but can be fatal if he throws you into the arena spikes.
- He has a one-handed pound, a two-handed pound, and a sword strike, all dodged by running.
- In the final phase, he gains a wild sword slashing attack (one-hit kill), a forward kick followed by a sword slash, and a stomp attack.
- His weak point is his legs in the final phase.
Phases:
- Phase 1: Initial Attacks & First Speed Kill
- Use the platforms on the arena's edge to ascend. Hug the wall to reach a ramp, ascend it, and run along the wall to the right to reach a beam.
- Climb the beam, jump right to the next platform, ascend the ramp, run up the wall, and stab into the plate.
- Run left to the last platform, ascend the ramp, and run up the wall to stab into the plate.
- Run along the wall to the final platform. Step onto the beam and initiate a Speed Kill. Match three visual cues: when you dive out, when he has you in his hand, and when you are on his face.
- Phase 2: Second Speed Kill
- Run along the arena edge to the left to reach another ramp. Run up the ramp and stab into the plate.
- Run along the wall to the right and stab into the next plate. Run along the wall to the right to reach the platform.
- Ascend the ramp and run up the wall to stab into the plate. Run along the wall to the final platform.
- Step onto the beam and initiate a Speed Kill. Match three visual cues: when you dive out, when Klompa raises his hand, and when the Prince is on his head.
- Phase 3: Final Phase & Leg Attacks
- Klompa gains new attacks, including a one-hit kill sword slash, a kick-slash combo, and a stomp. Save sand for rewinding sword slashes.
- Circle behind Klompa and slash at his legs. Continually slash his legs to whittle down his health.
- Dodge his attempts to move away and counterattack.
- After bringing down both legs, complete a final Speed Kill. Match three visual cues: one on his lower back, one when the Prince is in the air, and the last on the back of the neck. Missing these cues will cause Klompa to regain health.
Strategy:
- Use sand for rewinding fatal sword slashes in the final phase.
- Dodge Klompa's sword slash by rolling forward or to the side; do not backflip.
- Focus attacks on Klompa's legs in the final phase.
- Be precise with Speed Kill cues to avoid losing progress.
- If a visual cue fails to appear during a Speed Kill, recognize when it is supposed to occur based on the Prince's actions.
- Defeating Klompa progresses the story.
Tips
- The fountain in the Arena can be used before the boss fight.
- Smash pots on the left side of the Arena for sand.
- Be aware of a potential glitch where a Speed Kill cue may not appear; rely on timing if this happens.
