Complete the Courtyard - Grace section in Resident Evil 9: Requiem, including finding the Helicopter Key and escaping the Research Facility.
Walkthrough
- 1Head down the steps to the Courtyard. Find the last Antique Coin on a chair if needed.
- 2Continue down more steps and follow signs to the Helipad to meet Harry.
- 3Enter the small building to the north and examine the book on the sideboard to unlock the Visitor Record file (42/75).
- 4Go through the passageway to the north to find an Item Box.
- 5Enter the VIP Suite through the door on the left and examine the papers on the desk to unlock the Note Regarding Search Results file (43/75).
- 6Pick up the hourglass on the table and turn it upside down. Wait for the sand to drain to read the inscription, "U = 380,000".
- 7Examine the bottle of Sanguis Virginis on the sideboard. Twist the bottle to align the misaligned label, open it, and pull it apart to retrieve a Double Helix Model.
- 8Interact with the plinth in the center of the room to reveal a space to slot the model into. The room will descend to an underground research facility.
- 9Head north to the Reception area. Find a Typewriter and an Item Box. Examine the papers on the desk to unlock the Spencer's Research II file (44/75).
- 10Go down the stairs to the east to the Collection & Testing area. Note the Disposal Tanks. Find a Med Injector in a drawer in the top-left corner if needed. Examine a folder on a gurney to unlock the Subject 170 Record file (45/75).
- 11Read the file to note that Marie (the Girl) was injected with a sample extracted from the blood collected from 115 infected.
- 12You cannot open the Emergency Evacuation Route to the north. Read the map on the wall to the left of the doors to obtain the Research Facility Floor Guide.
- 13Head up the stairs to the west to the Development area and continue south to the Private Lab. Find the Grace Ashcroft Blood Analysis Report file (46/75) on a desk.
- 14Read the file and note the entry: "C = 4.2 ly."
- 15Go to the room to the south and destroy the Mr. Raccoon memoriam (9/25) on a desk.
- 16Pick up the Helicopter Key on the desk with the computer monitors.
- 17The door leading back to Development will lock. Interact with the computer to deactivate the security system, unlocking the door to the Control Room.
- 18Go through to the Control Room for a scene with Victor. After he initiates the self-destruct sequence, head south to Reception and then down the stairs to Collection & Testing.
- 19Zombies from the vats will be wandering around. Grab a Disposal Tank and spray the nearest zombies to make them explode.
- 20Make your way north through the area, spraying zombies. The Disposal Tank holds 80 units and can be refilled from wall holders.
- 21Go through the Emergency Evacuation Route in the north. When the path is blocked by debris, head right into another collection area. A giant blood tank will explode, knocking the Disposal Tank out of your hands. Bodies will turn into Blister Heads. Run to the stairs in the south of the area.
- 22If you completed the steps in the Basement and Care Center, you will find Marie's Doll at the foot of the stairs. Place it in an Item Box when possible.
- 23Head up the stairs, watching for zombies transforming into Blister Heads. Squeeze through a gap and head up more stairs. Stick to the left as a crate will come down the other side.
- 24Climb a ladder to reach the Emergency Exit.
- 25Go through and head down the slope towards the building by the Helipad. Deal with the zombie in front of you, as more will follow. Grab a Green Herb if needed and climb through the window.
- 26Leave through the door for a scene. Grace reaches the helicopter with the key, but zombies swarm it. Harry gets the helicopter flying, but a zombie breaks the canopy and attacks him. The helicopter crashes, killing Harry and injuring Emily.
Tips
- The Disposal Tank has a limited capacity of 80 units. Grab new ones from wall holders when needed.
- When Blister Heads appear in the Collection & Testing area, prioritize running to the stairs rather than fighting.
- If you have Marie's Doll, place it in an Item Box as soon as possible.
- Conserve ammunition when dealing with zombies before reaching the Research Facility.
