General Tips

• Grace's default viewpoint is first-person, Leon's is third-person. Both can be changed in options.
• When playing as Grace, equip a knife to open containers and slash enemies to save ammo. Use the Hemolytic Injector (R2) when an enemy is stunned to save ammo, but hold L1 to ensure you use the injector and not the knife. L1+R2 can stagger zombies on lower difficulties.
• Knives degrade with use. Recycle worn knives (red state) into scrap via the crafting menu.
• In the Care Center, break large pots for ammo/scrap and small vases for items. Be cautious of noise attracting enemies.
• You don't need to kill every enemy, especially as Grace. Sneak past or stagger enemies by shooting their knees and run.
• After firing, reload your weapon. For Leon, sharpen his hatchet regularly.
• Leon can parry attacks with L1 at the right time. With a pistol, Leon can sidestep and shoot enemies in the back of the head (R2) when they grab. With a two-handed weapon, he'll shove it in their mouth and fire.
• Upgrading Leon's weapons with a Dot Sight forces first-person aiming, changeable in options.
• Grace's S&S M232 is superior. For Leon, the Silencer 9 handgun and 990-TAC shotgun are best. Rifles: Classic 70 for single-shot damage. Any automatic weapon is a good fallback.
• Grace should prioritize crafting Hemolytic Injectors with scrap. On Insanity, craft Empty Bottles. Keep scrap in your Item Box if you lack a knife. Prioritize Stabilizers for Empty Injectors and 12.7x55mm ammo for rare metal. Use blood for Hemolytic Injectors, Molotov Cocktails, and Bottles of Acid. Avoid crafting handgun ammo unless on Insanity. Hemolytic Injectors instakill most enemies. Don't use blood for Med Injectors; combine Green Herbs for heals.
• Steroids increase Grace's health, but Stabilizers (increasing damage) are better as she should avoid combat.
• Ammo is tight for Leon on Casual+. Use stealth kills and buy ammo from supply boxes.

Inventory Management
