Explore the Biohazard Revival Selection HD Remaster for PS3, detailing its features, graphical enhancements, bundled content, and all 12 Trophies.

This section details the Biohazard Revival Selection HD Remaster release for the PlayStation 3, a significantly updated port of Resident Evil Code: Veronica X.

Released on September 8, 2011, in Japan, this version features widescreen high-resolution graphics, dynamic lighting powered by the MT Framework engine, and is based on the CODE: Veronica Kanzenban for Dreamcast. Notable changes from the original include the use of the PlayStation 2 CG attract movie, the absence of the Rocket Launcher in Very Easy Mode, and the Battle Game being unlocked from the start. Item screen character images are updated to match their art renders, and the game supports Leaderboards.

The Revival Selection also includes a port of Biohazard 4. Early PS3 buyers received a free digital abridged copy of Biohazard Archives II (CODE: Veronica and Biohazard 4 sections) from the PlayStation Store. The game requires installation to the PS3 hard disk and must be played with the Blu-Ray disc in the drive. As with all PS3 software, it is region-free.

The game contains the following 12 Trophies:

  1. 01. The Terror Begins — Escape from the Graveyard of Terror.
  2. 02. A Changed Father — Liberate the changed man.
  3. 03. Beyond the Shades — Encounter a former S.T.A.R.S. captain.
  4. 04. The Fallen Tyrant — Flatten an unstoppable enemy.
  5. 05. The Prisoner Who Lost Everything — Defeat the nameless man and end his suffering.
  6. 06. To The Frozen Land — Begin the search for your sister.
  7. 07. The Arrogant Queen — Put an end to the Queen's reign.
  8. 08. Duty and Humanity — Deliver some medicine to a man in need.
  9. 09. Weapon Crazy — Get the Rocket Launcher.
  10. 10. Battle Master — Get the Linear Launcher from Battle Game.
  11. 11. From The Young Lady — Receive some encouragement from a young lady.
  12. 12. The Green Giant — Say farewell to your fallen comrade.

The Biohazard 15th Anniversary Special BOX, a limited edition release for e-Capcom shoppers, was also released on the same day. It included the standard Revival Selection, a disc binder with reprints of Biohazard Director's Cut, Biohazard 2, and Biohazard 3: Last Escape for the original PlayStation, badges, abridged soundtracks for Biohazard CODE: Veronica and Biohazard 4, a spacer for Biohazard 5, and stickers, all in a S.T.A.R.S.-themed box.
