HUNK is a male member of the Umbrella Special Forces (U.S.S.) and a Team Leader. He is known for being the sole survivor of many operations, earning him the nicknames "Grim Reaper" or "Death".

In one operation, HUNK and his squad confronted William Birkin in his lab, shot him, and took the G-virus sample. However, Birkin survived, injected himself with the G-virus, and confronted HUNK in the sewers of Raccoon City. HUNK was the only survivor of this encounter and managed to retrieve the G-virus sample.

He later woke up in the sewers and contacted his helicopter for evacuation. With limited ammunition, HUNK had to fight through T-virus carriers in the police station to reach the evacuation point. Throughout his ordeal, he maintained a cold, silent, and emotionless demeanor, driven by the thought that "Death cannot die".

HUNK is considered one of the flashiest and deadliest characters in Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. He possesses two instant kill melee attacks. His deathblow melee, when combined with the Reversal skill, makes him extremely powerful. HUNK can also be a significant time-builder through Side Kick melee kills when using the Reversal skill on any stage.
