As the team medic, Rebecca Chambers was involved in the outbreak aboard the Ecliptic Express. Despite her inexperience sometimes causing hesitation, she remains calm under pressure. She can act overconfident and pretend she doesn't need help, even when she clearly does.

Rebecca first encounters Billy Coen on the Ecliptic Express, initially viewing him as a criminal seeking freedom. After they cooperate and Billy assists her, Rebecca develops respect for him and believes in his innocence. They survive the Training Facility together, and Rebecca allows Billy to believe he died in the train wreck, letting him go. Afterward, she heads to the Spencer Estate to rejoin Bravo Team.

While Rebecca lacks her flamespray head stun melee from RE5 Mercs Reunion, her weapon setup in Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is considered one of the best. Her melee attacks are not powerful but can be effective if enough damage is dealt beforehand.
