Master Mission Level 4-4: Public Assembly in Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. Learn enemy tactics, time bonuses, combo locations, and recommended skills/weapons.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Start near the oil barrels on the north side. If you spawn at the other end, restart.
  2. 2
Do not engage enemies immediately. Climb the Executioner platform and grab the 90-second time bonus at the top.
  3. 3
Drop down, go up the stairs to the rooftop of the building near the bus, and hop onto the bus to break the 90-second time bonus.
  4. 4
Fall down and enter the building behind the bus to find and break the 60-second time bonus inside.
  5. 5
Jump through the window and locate the shack above the waterway in the south. Enter it to pick up a combo bonus from a chest.
  6. 6
Fall into the waterway and grab the 60-second time bonus.
  7. 7
Begin engaging Majini. Avoid hitting explosive barrels to maximize melee kill effectiveness. Prioritize melee kills for combo and time bonuses.
  8. 8
Fight your way out of the waterway and up the ramp. Work your way back north, but don't rush.
  9. 9
Hit the final 60-second time bonus at the far north end of the assembly, near a wrecked car.
  10. 10
Move between the north and south areas frequently to draw out Majini camping in those spots.
Tips
  • Dynamite Majini: Be aware of Majini carrying dynamite. They explode immediately when the dynamite hits the ground. Shooting the dynamite can cause it to explode prematurely, harming you. Killing dynamite Majini with melee attacks will not cause them to explode, but will damage nearby Majini.
  • Big Man Majini: These enemies will attack periodically. Kill them instantly when they appear.
  • Chainsaw Majini: The main boss. Toss a hand grenade to stun it and knock back nearby Majini, then use your most powerful weapon. A magnum can stun the Chainsaw Majini easily if shot in the legs or head, even without a grenade. Focus all attention on this enemy.
  • Grabs: Town Majini can grab you easily. Carefully press the on-screen buttons to escape. Hitting the wrong button breaks the combo. Avoid the full grab attack animation.
  • Melee Kills: Crucial for this mission. Maximize melee kills to build or maintain time, especially with weak Town Majini.
  • Time Bonuses:
    • East end of the waterway (60 seconds)
  • On top of the bus (90 seconds)
  • On top of the Executioner platform (90 seconds)
  • Inside the building near the bus, across from the window (60 seconds)
  • Far north portion of the assembly near a wrecked car (60 seconds)
  • Combo Bonuses:
    • Inside the shack near the bus
    • Inside the shack suspended over the waterway
  • Recommended Skills: Old School (level 3) for inventory reloading, Lucky 7 to build extra time per melee kill, Giant Killing to defeat Chainsaw Majini quicker.
  • Recommended Weapon Sets: For Rebecca, explosive rounds help with Chainsaw Majini and combos. For Barry, the M500 quickly kills Chainsaw and Big Man Majini. The combination of Barry's weapon set and skills like Old School, Combat, and Lucky 7 is effective for most characters.
  • Character Strategies:
    • General: Shoot Town Majini in the leg for a stun, then perform a melee. With Lucky 7, melee kills can build time.
    • Big Man Majini: Shoot in the legs with the M500 magnum, then melee while stunned. Rebecca may need a handgun leg shot before the M500 hit for a melee kill.
    • Chainsaw Majini: Shoot in the leg with the M500, then shoot in the head for an instant kill.
    • HUNK: Use Side Kick deathblow melee (set up with flash rounds) to kill Town Majini in one hit after any stun. Spam Big Man Majini with the AK and melee kill. For Chainsaw Majini, use a grenade to stun, then blast with the AK.
