Learn the strategy to defeat the ultimate boss, Vile Demiurge, in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux. Includes boss stats, weaknesses, and recommended tactics.

Boss: Vile Demiurge

• HP: 20000 / MP: 9999
• Resistances: Randomly change every 2 turns.
• Weaknesses (Wk): Physical (Phys)
• Nullifies (Nu): Expel, Curse
• Resists (Rf): Gun, Fire, Ice, Electric, Wind (changes based on Demiurge's current resistance set)

Strategy:

• Demiurge is the strongest boss in the game. High-level demons (90+) with powerful Almighty skills like Jihad are highly recommended.
• The primary strategy is to buff your party with Luster Candy to +3 and spam Jihad.
• Use Tetraja Stones on your main character to prevent instant-kills from Mahamaon or Mamudoon. Reapply if necessary.
• Your main character is best used for support: throwing items to heal the party and replenish MP.
• Alternatively, Debilitate Demiurge to -3 and use other Almighty skills like Big Bang or Megidolaon. Big Bang costs slightly less MP than Jihad but offers less damage output.
• Demiurge will frequently use Dekunda to remove buffs and Diarama to heal himself (900-1200 HP).
• With powerful demons, you should only need 1-2 Great Chakras or Beads of Life for healing and MP replenishment.
• Using demons with lower Ma stats (60s-80s) will significantly prolong the fight and require more healing items.
• Grinding for levels and acquiring strong demons is crucial for this fight.

• Rare Forma: Nabatea Stone.
• Transforms into Sub App "Scanning Zero," which reveals dark areas on the automap.
• Accepting this EX Mission slightly shifts your alignment towards Law, unless your alignment is already locked.
