If the boxes get destroyed, don't worry – you can use the nearby walls to climb up and jump off. If Flying Dog stops moving, be ready for either a laser or missile attack.

   This is the exact same fight as Sonic versus Shadow, so use the same tactics. Wait for Sonic to stop, then use your homing attack. Just try your best not to get knocked off the edge – that's an instant fail!

5. Egg Golem (Dr. Eggman)

   This fight is quite different when you're Dr. Eggman. The Golem's attacks are similar, but you need to blast its chest. The biggest danger here is the sand: if you fall in, Eggman's suit can't jump out like Sonic's could. If you do fall, quickly hover and land on one of the blocks, then use the pulleys to get back up.

   Another fight that's pretty much identical. Sonic's main unique move here is the Sonic Wind. To beat him, get three hits in at the start.
