This guide details the locations of Big the Cat in various stages of Sonic Adventure 2. Big can be found in specific spots within each level, often requiring careful observation or specific actions to spot him.

Locations:

1. City Escape: While running from the truck, look to the right side of the track.
2. Wild Canyon: After going up the air lift, turn around and look above the right windmill/pinwheel.
3. Prison Lane: Reach the tunnel before the big elevator; Big is in the second to last prison cell on the left.
4. Metal Harbor: Before the rocket to the rocket ship, look on top of the tank past the Chao Box.
5. Sonic Vs. Shadow - Boss Battle: Big is inside a cage in the ground.
6. Pumpkin Hill: After reaching Ghost Train Mountain via rocket, jump onto the train and look back towards the mountain for a blocked tunnel; Big is behind the bars.
7. Mission Street: After the first checkpoint, progress down the bridge to the area with police cars and robots. From the landing edge, turn the camera to find Big on a steel beam.
8. Aquatic Mine: With the water level at 1 or 2, go to the far left corner to the "Caution" shaft. Swim to the bottom of the shaft to find Big next to the spring.
9. Pyramid Cave: At the second checkpoint, take the top route (grind the railing). As you grind, look left near a high point with a fence to spot Big.
10. Death Chamber: Proceed through the doors to the Pyramid Core. Climb the mesh wiring and look inside a pillar to find Big.
11. Crazy Gadget (Normal Mode): Reach the colored blocks near the goal. Go to the yellow block, use the spring, and land on its side. Use the next spring to grind a railing; Big is on the left side of the yellow block.
12. Crazy Gadget (Hard Mode): Reach the colored blocks at the end. Near the blue block on the right, look at its bottom side to find Big hanging from it.

Note: Big's locations in Green Forest, Route 101, Hidden Base, Eternal Engine, and Meteor Herd are currently unknown (marked as ???).
