10) Evacuation

Your final mission in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat - Enhanced Edition. Learn how to survive the evacuation, fight off hordes of mutants, and escape the Zone.

Alright, this is it – the big one. After finishing up that last bit of business, you'll get the signal that it's time to get out of Dodge. The Zone's about to throw one last tantrum with an emission, so just hang tight until it blows over. Once the dust settles, you'll get a cutscene, and then it's time to chat with Kovalsky.

Before you head out, make sure you're stocked up. Grab all the ammo you can carry – you're gonna need it. When you're ready, tell Kovalsky you're good to go. Head outside, and keep an eye on the sky. A helicopter will show up, but don't get too comfortable just yet. As soon as it arrives, you'll be swarmed by zombies. Just mow 'em down and then stick close to Strelok. You'll keep moving for a bit, but then Kovalsky will radio in, and you'll pause again. Just follow him when he gets moving.

Keep following Kovalsky, and be ready for anything. You'll run into some snorks, and then things get serious with a chimera. When you reach the corner of the school building, you'll get hit by a powerful psy attack that messes with your controls. Don't panic! You'll get a mission update to find and revive the medic. Just head to the location marked on your map and talk to him. Once he's back on his feet, you can continue.

Now, get your Gauss gun ready – this is where it gets intense. You'll be close to the helicopters, but a whole mess of Monolith fighters will show up to stop you. Prioritize the ones on the rooftops; your Gauss gun is perfect for taking them out from a distance. Your main objective area is between the Prometheus movie theatre and the river port. You'll need to hold these positions against waves of Monolith fighters for a few minutes.

After a tense stand-off, another cutscene will play, marking the end of the game. You'll have a choice: leave the Zone and call it a day, or stick around. If you decide to stay, head back to the laundromat and find Garry. He'll guide you out of the Zone, completing the game that way.
