    Ozerksy will give you a mutant detection scanner (a device that detects mutants).

    Head to the Bitumen anomaly.

    Place the detector on the point shown on the map (your minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen) will display this location).

    Wait near the device and kill several snorks (mutant creatures) that arrive.

    After a while, you'll be asked to pick up the scanner.

    Take the scanner and return to Ozerksy.
