Alright, this one's a bit of a trek, but it's worth it for the stash info and some decent cash. First things first, you'll need a SEVA suit. If you don't have one yet, head to a trader and pick one up – it's pretty essential for what's coming. Once you're geared up, make your way to the scientists' bunker.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Get the Mission: Head into the bunker and find Professor Hermann. Chat with him and agree to take on his mission. He'll then point you towards Topol, who's just chilling outside. Talk to Topol, let him know you're ready, and he'll zap you over to a tunnel near the Ash Heap anomaly.
  2. 2
Tunnel Crawl: Find Topol again in the tunnel. When you're good to go, he'll give you the signal to move out. Head into the tunnel and clear out the zombies. Your buddies will lend a hand here, so don't worry too much.
  3. 3
Anomaly Dodge: You'll need to navigate past a moving anomaly to get into the next room. Take your time, watch its pattern, and slip through when you see an opening. There are some extra goodies in that next room if you want to grab them before pushing on.
  4. 4
The Altered Insulator: Inside that room, grab the "altered insulator." It's your main objective here. Once you've got it, head back outside.
  5. 5
Controller Encounter: As soon as you're out, you'll be ambushed by a Controller. These guys are nasty. Your best bet is to whip out your shotgun and get up close and personal, jumping out to unload on it when it's near. If you're more of a long-range player, a sniper rifle can also do the trick, but you'll need to be precise.
  6. 6
Loot and Return: After you've dealt with the Controller, loot any bodies you can find. Then, head back to Topol. He'll give you some stash location information – this is the main reward for your efforts. He'll then warp you back to the scientists' bunker.
  7. 7
Mission Complete: Finally, report back to Professor Hermann. He'll hand over your payment, which is 6000 RU, and that's the mission done!

Tips
  • Make sure your SEVA suit is in good condition before heading to the bunker. Repairs can be costly, but a damaged suit will make that Controller fight much harder.
  • Don't be afraid to use cover when fighting the Controller. The environment in the tunnel can offer some protection.
  • If you're struggling with the Controller, try throwing some grenades before engaging directly. It can stagger it and give you an opening.
