After completing five dark missions for Hulas, he will reveal he has double-crossed you. Meet him in the Dune Sea for revenge.

When you arrive in the Dune Sea, Hulas will not be alone. Prioritize defeating his two thugs who wield poisonous blades; use antidote kits after they are dead.

Target Hulas next and use Force Lightning, Drain Life, and advanced medpacs to defeat him. Loot his remains for valuable items.

Return to Manaan.

Before proceeding, engage in party member conversations: Carth expresses concern and a desire to protect you, while Jolee discusses his past adventuring days, his wife, and his views on love.

Leave the Ebon Hawk with Bastila and Jolee as your party members. Open the two doors leading out of the Docking Bay.

Proceed into the hallway and speak with a Sith and Republic soldier engaged in an argument.

Ask the Republic soldier about Manaan; he will provide directions to the Republic Embassy but not information about the Star Map.

Head west and open the doors to find a merchant selling an infinite supply of computer spikes. Purchase 20 to 30.

Before opening the south door marked 'Manaan - West Central', speak with Nubassa.

Persuade Nubassa that the gizka are special and will not reproduce to sell them to him. You will need to pay him 100 credits, unless you can persuade him to take them for free.

Proceed through the south door into the next area, following the path to the visitors area until you reach the port official. Pay the docking fee if you have not already done so as a dark player.

Continue south to the bottom of the area, then west into Ahtto West.

If Jolee is in your party, Elora will stop you regarding the Sunry murder trial. Agree to help and go south to the courts.

Speak with the judges and request to investigate the trial, becoming the Arbiter (lawyer) for Sunry. You can ask the judges for more information about the case.

Go to the prison on the eastern side of the map and speak with the guard to gain entry. Sunry will recognize Jolee and recount his version of the story, claiming he is being framed and encouraging you to visit the hotel where the murder occurred.

Go to the northeastern part of the map and follow the path to a bar where Nilko is recruiting mercenaries for the Republic.

Speak with Nilko, who is concerned about the Republic hiring many mercenaries. He will pay you 500 credits for information.

After speaking with Nilko, talk to Shaleas, who suspects her daughter Sasha was taken by the Sith. Sasha disappeared with other Selkath youth around the time the Sith arrived. Shaleas will pay you 500 credits for any information.

With these quests in your journal, go east back into the West Central area and further east into East Central.

Go north and open the door, then turn left into the hotel. Speak with Ignus behind the counter about the Sunry case.
