To get started, you'll absolutely need a hammer in your inventory. It doesn't matter if it's the basic Crude Hammer or the fancier Refined Hammer; either one will do the trick. ### Rafts Rafts are your ticket to exploring beyond your starting island. They're not just for getting around, though – you can even use Container Shelves to turn them into mobile storage platforms. Pretty handy when you're out scavenging! ### Buildings When we talk about 'buildings' in Stranded Deep, we usually mean anything you construct on top of Foundations.
