HIDDEN SYSTEM DIRECTION PAGES

To unlock Page 8, beat the game on maximum difficulty (Level 8) with the System Direction set to NORMAL. Beating the game with every character will unlock pages 8 through 10, regardless of difficulty or continues used, provided the System Direction is set to NORMAL.

PLAY AS GILL

Beat the game with every character on any difficulty to unlock Gill. To select Gill, highlight Yun and press up, or highlight Yang and press down.

UNLOCK EXTRA OPTIONS

Beat the game with Gill on any difficulty to unlock the Extra Options menu. This menu includes an option to change the number of stocks, which may affect Gill's Super Arts usability.

FIGHT CPU-CONTROLLED Q

To fight CPU-controlled Q, you must meet the following requirements by Stage 7 or 8: do not lose any rounds, do not continue, achieve a grade of D or better on every stage, get 2 or more Special Points, and achieve a specific number of Super Art finishes based on the battle length (3 for 1-round, 5 for 3-round, 7 for 5-round, 9 for 7-round battles). If successful, Q will challenge you after your last opponent.

BONUS GAME LEVEL SELECT

In Arcade Mode, after every three opponents, a bonus game is played. To select the bonus game difficulty, hold a direction and button combination when the 'Let's Blocking' message appears. For Normal difficulty: Level 1 (d + LK), Level 2 (d + MK), Level 3 (d + HK), Level 4 (d + KKK), Level 5 (d + LP+MK+HP). For Hard difficulty: Level 1 (u + LK), Level 2 (u + MK), Level 3 (u + HK), Level 4 (u + KKK), Level 5 (u + LK+MP+HK). The game normally determines difficulty based on player performance.
