Phases:

1. The battle begins with Magnius, Bowman, and Whip Master all present.
2. Bowman and Whip Master are primarily there to be annoying distractions.
3. Once Bowman and Whip Master are defeated, Magnius is the sole remaining opponent.

Strategy:

• First things first, you'll want to deal with Bowman and Whip Master before turning your attention to Magnius. They don't hit super hard, but their presence can really disrupt your flow and make the fight drag on.
• Once those two nuisances are out of the way, focus all your efforts on Magnius. Think of him as a slightly less powerful version of Kilia, with significantly less ATK power and a manageable HP pool of 8,500.
• Just wail on him with your standard attacks. You've got this! In no time, this battle will be yours.

After the battle, you'll watch a scene where a new character, Rodyle, is mentioned. Once you regain control, leave the Human Ranch. Your next destination is Thoda Dock, located to the southeast of the ranch.

Thoda Dock

When you arrive at Thoda Dock, head to the Inn on the second floor and rest up. Outside, find the dog and speak to it using Colette as your party leader. Then, go back inside the Inn and chat with Candy, the woman behind the counter. A scene will play, and you'll soon find yourself at Thoda Geyser, gearing up to take on the last seal.

Upon reaching Thoda Geyser, make your way up the path. You'll encounter a scene and then meet a guy with a backpack and a green hat – he's your guy for supplies. After stocking up, head to the NW area and find another dog. Colette should recognize it as 'Bob' and comment on its cute tail. Now, make your way to the NE corner and approach the pedestal that was shown in the earlier scene. Another scene will trigger, introducing the Spiritua Statue. Your task is to follow Genis's directions to complete this part without failing more than twice. After that, interact with the pedestal that has a blue object on top to trigger yet another scene.

Inside, head north and take care of any enemies. Descend the stairs to find the 'Mermaid's Tear'. Continue down the stairs, and at the bottom, you'll find chests on the east side containing a 'Life Bottle' and a 'Circlet'. Take the southwest exit, but don't worry about the Sorcerer's Ring pedestal for now.

You'll find an 'EX Gem Lv1' in a hidden chest behind the upper stone pillar on your east side. Then, proceed through the stone pillars to the east to grab a 'White Silver' and an 'Orange Gel' from the chests. Return to the previous room and head north. Use your Sorcerer's Ring on the torches, each located next to a stone tablet with a flame symbol. Once all torches are lit, you'll need to change the function of your Sorcerer's Ring.

Switch the function of the Sorcerer's Ring and then exit through the southeast. Head down the stairs to find a 'Stun Bracelet' and a 'Circlet' from the chests.
