Phases:

1. The Sword Dancer #2 is a single-phase boss fight.

Strategy:

• Recommended Party Levels: Lloyd 37, Genis 36, Raine 36, Zelos 36.
• Genis' Spell Setup: Turn off all spells except Spread and Eruption.
• Raine's Tech Setup: Turn off all Techs except Photon, First Aid, and Nurse.
• Zelos' Role: Primarily to heal the party when needed.
• Lloyd's C-Stick Shortcuts: Set to Raine's Photon.
• Party Strategy Settings:
  • Genis: Attack Freely, At Once, Don't Pursue
  • Raine: Attack Freely, Heal, Don't Pursue
  • Zelos: Attack Freely, Heal, Skills and Magic (to keep him from getting too close)
• Recommended Items: At least 15 Life Bottles, 15-20 Pineapple Gels, 10-15 Lemon Gels.
• Unison Attack Combo: Lloyd's Tiger Blade, Raine's Photon, Genis' Raging Mist, Zelos' Lightning.
• During the Fight:
  • Immediately use Magic Lens to identify its magical capabilities.
  • The Sword Dancer #2 uses a lot of magic, so be prepared.
  • Genis' Spread and Eruption spells are key for keeping the boss occupied.
  • Raine's Photon can deal over 1,000 damage per hit.
  • Use Nurse frequently for healing.
  • Activate Unison Attacks as soon as the meter is full, as they deal significant damage (4,500-5,300 per attack).
  • Zelos should focus on healing and using items.
  • Lloyd should stay close to the boss, attacking when possible and guarding when necessary.
  • This boss is similar to the first Sword Dancer but uses magic more.
  • The fight should take around 5 minutes.

After the Battle:

Once the fight is over, make your way back to the entrance of the Gaoracchia Forest, near Mizuho. Head down the 'E' path and exit to the world map. Your next objective is to locate the village of Ozette. From the forest exit, cross the bridge to the southeast. Once you're on the other side, travel directly south. You'll find a small village hidden amongst the trees – this is Ozette.

Upon entering Ozette, a scene will play. Afterward, proceed to the main area and speak with the dog. Then, enter the house to the west, which is the Inn. You can rest here if you wish. Examine the parrot on the north wall to trigger the appearance of Wonder Chef, who will teach you the recipe for "Tenderloin".
