Phases:

1. The fight is a single, continuous phase. The Sword Dancer #2 uses a lot of magic attacks.

Strategy:

• Party Setup: Your party should ideally be around level 36-37. Recommended party: Lloyd (37), Genis (36), Raine (36), and Zelos (36).
• Genis' Spells: Turn off all spells except Spread and Eruption.
• Raine's Spells: Turn off all Techs except Photon, First Aid, and Nurse.
• Zelos' Role: Zelos' primary job is to heal your party when needed.
• Lloyd's Shortcuts: Set Lloyd's C-stick shortcuts to Raine's Photon for easy access.
• Strategy Settings:
  
  • Genis: Attack Freely, At Once, Don't Pursue
  • Raine: Attack Freely, Heal, Don't Pursue
  • Zelos: Attack Freely, Heal, Skills and Magic (this setting helps keep him from getting too close to the boss).
• Item Requirements: Make sure you have at least 15 Life Bottles, 15-20 Pineapple Gels, and 10-15 Lemon Gels.
• Unison Attacks: Prepare Unison Attacks using Lloyd's Tiger Blade, Raine's Photon, Genis' Raging Mist, and Zelos' Lightning.
• During the Battle:
  
  • Start by using Magic Lens to identify his attacks.
  • He uses a lot of magic, so be prepared to defend.
  • Genis' Spread and Eruption spells are great for keeping him occupied.
  • Raine's Photon can deal over 1,000 damage per hit.
  • Use Nurse frequently to keep your party's HP up.
  • As soon as the Unison Attack meter fills, use them! Each one can deal between 4,500 and 5,300 damage.
  • Zelos should focus on healing and using items.
  • Lloyd should stay close to the Sword Dancer #2, attacking when safe and guarding when necessary.
  • The fight should take around 5 minutes.
• Note: This Sword Dancer is similar to the first one, but he relies much more on magic this time.
