Phases:

1. The Fake is a single-phase boss fight.

Strategy:

• First, customize your party's skills. For Zelos, disable all attacks except for Eruption, Air Thrust, Grave, and Thunder Blade. For Genis, disable all his spells except for Tidal Wave, Explosion, Cyclone, and Ground Dasher.
• As soon as the battle begins, set your party's strategy to "All out" by pressing the D-pad right.
• Position yourself directly in front of the Fake. Your primary actions should be guarding and occasionally using the Guardian skill.
• Zelos and Genis will then engage the Fake with their magic from a distance, keeping themselves safe.
• Raine's role is crucial: she needs to support you with her healing arts. When she's not healing, have her use Photon and Ray/Holy Lance.
• By following this strategy, you'll defeat the Fake in no time. The All-Divide item it drops is incredibly useful for surviving tough encounters.
