Phases:

1. Phase 1: Mithos utilizes powerful light-based spells like Ray, Holy Lance, and Judgment. He also has an attack called "Retribution" that inflicts random status effects. His advanced spells are difficult to stagger against.
2. Phase 2: Mithos has higher HP (60,000) and ATK (2,150) but lower DEF (265) and TP (1,500). He retains his Judgment spell and also uses Flame Lance. His physical attack hits three times consecutively. He drops an EX Gem MAX and can be stolen for one as well. He is strong against all elements in this phase.

Strategy:

• Use Genis' advanced spells such as Indignation, Explosion, and Ground Dasher, as they are highly effective.
• Raine's Revitalize spell is crucial for party healing.
• When Mithos begins casting Judgment, immediately unleash a Unison Attack to nullify it or his Retribution spell.
• Don't hesitate to use all available items, as this is one of the final battles.
• In Phase 2, while Mithos has more HP, he is generally easier to manage. Focus on countering Judgment with Unison Attacks.
