Odin's Tower

Guide to Odin's Tower in Tales of Phantasia. Learn how to collect 5 Fire Talismans and convert them into Koori No Mamori Rings.

Walkthrough:

1. Enter Odin's Tower, located east of Olive Village on the Freyland continent.
2. Collect 5 Fire Talismans from enemies. Equip one on each party member to resist fire damage.
3. Go left and enter the first door. Open the two treasure chests to find a ?ARMOR (convert to Reflect Plate with a Rune Bottle) and a Basilisk Egg.
4. Go up the aisle and activate the lever on the wall.
5. Go right and down into a door. Open the two treasure chests to find a ?BOOK (convert to Seventh Sun book with a Rune Bottle) and a Moon Crystal.
6. Go up the aisle on the right side and activate the second lever. The middle door should now be open.
7. Ensure all 5 party members have a Fire Talisman equipped. Use 5 Rune Bottles to convert these into "Koori No Mamori" Rings, which grant Ice attribute resistance. Equip these rings on all characters.
8. Proceed through the now-open middle door to the next floor.
9. Go right and down into a hot room containing two wooden chests with Mixed Gummis.
10. Go left, then down into another hot room containing a wooden chest with a Verbena.
11. Return to the previous screen, go up, and open the chest containing an Ankh Shield and a Flame Mantle.
12. Go back down, then right, and ascend the stairs to the northeast to reach the next floor.
13. Go north to the next screen.
14. Go left and down into a room with two wooden chests containing a Life Bottle and a Ring Shield (can be equipped by party members other than Cress).
15. Go north twice to the next screen.
16. Open the chest containing a ?HELM (convert to Duel Helm with a Rune Bottle; Rea Helm is better).
17. Return to the staircase (east and south). Before descending, go south down an aisle and up the stairs to a new floor.
18. Go up, then right to find a room with three chests containing a Holy Bottle and two Veals.
19. Return to the previous screen and go upstairs.
20. Repeat the previous step on the next two floors, as the room to the right will be empty. Continue up until you reach a room with a chest containing the Explosion Spell for Arche. (Note: This spell heals enemies in this dungeon, so avoid using it).
21. Return to the entrance. You may wish to visit Olive Village to restock and save.
22. From the entrance, go right and use the door leading upwards.
23. In this hot room, open the chest containing a Rebirth Doll.
24. Go left and down to ascend stairs to the next floor.
25. Open the middle door. First, go left twice. In this hot room, find a lever on the north wall and a treasure chest containing a Mental Ring to the south.
26. Go right to the main room, continue right to another room. Activate the lever here to open the middle door. Open the chest containing a ?ARMOR (convert to Star Cloak with a Rune Bottle for Mint or Klaus).
27. Proceed through the now-open middle door to the next floor.
