This guide details the ranks within the Morag Tong assassin's guild in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Each rank is associated with specific stat bonuses (Speed, Agility, Skill 1, Skill 2) and a Reputation (Rep) value. Gaining a rank also increases your global reputation by one point.

Joining the Morag Tong:

To join the Morag Tong, you must find Grandmaster Eno Hlaalu, who resides in Vivec. He can be found in the Arena canton, specifically in the canalworks. Take the west stairs from the waistworks to the Arena Storage room. After dealing with rats, proceed through a locked and trapped door on the right. Unlock the trapdoor to the Arena Hidden Area and follow the path to meet Ulmesi Baryon. Ask her about the Morag Tong; she will reveal it is their headquarters. Explore the headquarters to find Eno Hlaalu. Agree to join, and you will become a Probationer. The Morag Tong favors stealth skills such as Marksman, Short Blade, Light Armour, Acrobatics, Sneak, and Illusion. It is beneficial to major in these skills.

Test to Become a Full Member:

To become a full member, you must pass a test involving the execution of Feruren Oran in the Elven Nations Cornerclub, located in the Hlaalu Plaza of the Hlaalu canton. Enter the club and find Feruren on the bottom floor. The objective is to kill him quickly before other elves can react. Using a weapon with a poison effect, like the Spiderbite long blade, is recommended. Be prepared to use Restore Health potions as Feruren uses Daedric Bite, which deals 50 points of damage. After killing Feruren, loot his corpse, report to an Ordinator, and then return to Eno Hlaalu to present the writ of execution. You will be officially welcomed into the Morag Tong.

Morag Tong Quests:

Writs and quests can be obtained from any guild steward across Vvardenfell, though the quests themselves are standardized. Eno Hlaalu is a common choice for obtaining these writs.

Writ for Odaishah Yasalmibaal:

This quest involves the execution of an Ashlander named Odaishah Yasalmibaal. To find him, travel to Sadrith Mora, take a boat to Tel Aruhn, and then swim southwest to a small yurt on a peninsula. Alternatively, travel from Vivec to Ebonheart, then to Sadrith Mora, and take a boat from Sadrith Mora to Tel Mora and then Tel Aruhn. Upon reaching the yurt, defeat Odaishah, loot the yurt, and return to Eno Hlaalu in Vivec. You will receive 500 gold but no promotion for this task.
