Balmora - Eydis Fire-Eye

Fighter's Guild - Exterminator

Faction Reputation Gain: none

This is the first quest Eydis Fire-Eye offers. You are tasked with eradicating rats from Drarayne Thelas's house, located across the river in Balmora. She has trapped one rat in her bedroom and two in her upstairs storage area, for which she provides a Storage Key. After dealing with the rats, you can loot the bedroom chest and the storage room. Drarayne Thelas will reward you with 100 septims. Report quest completion to Eydis. If eligible, you can advance to the Apprentice rank.

Fighter's Guild - The Egg Poachers

Faction Reputation Gain: 5

Your next task is to eliminate two egg poachers, Sevilo Othan and Daynila Valas, in the Shulk Egg Mine. The mine is located south-west of Balmora. Follow the river road out of Balmora, and turn off at the wooden bridge. Collect axes from the cart near the entrance before heading inside. Inside, kill Kwama foragers and Scribs. Daynila Valas is found in the queen's lair. Sevilo Othan is also in the lair. After defeating them, loot their bodies for common clothes and miner's picks. Return to Eydis in Balmora. She will reward you with 100 septims and four Quality Restore Fatigue potions. If eligible, you can advance to the Journeyman rank.

Fighter's Guild - The Telvanni Agents

Faction Reputation Gain: 5

Caldera Mining Company has hired you to eliminate four Telvanni agents—Alynu Aralen, Sathasa Nerothren, Fothyna Herothran, and Alveleg—who are causing trouble at the Caldera ebony mines. Travel to Caldera using the Mages Guild guide. From Caldera, head west and then south through a mountain gap to reach the mines. Alveleg is found near the entrance to the Telvanni cave, Ashanammu. He wields a bow, so stay close to him. The other three agents are inside Ashanammu. They will ambush you. Use Restore Health potions if needed. Loot their bodies and the nearby shelf for valuable items. Return to Eydis for a reward of 400 septims. No promotion is granted for this quest.
