Balmora - Nileno Dorvayn Quests

House Hlaalu - Disguise

House Reputation Gain: 5

Nileno Dorvayn asks you to impersonate a member of House Redoran to obtain their orders. If you are female, you will impersonate Relmerea Saram; if male, Felsen Sethandus.

1. Speak with Neminda at the Redoran Council in Ald'ruhn (take the silt strider).
2. Use the keyword 'Orphan of Arnesia' to receive a coded message and a Native Gah-Julan Bonemold Helm for disguise.
3. Put on the helm and enter the Redoran Council Manor. Find Neminda behind a potted plant.
4. Deliver the coded message to Neminda. She will give you a scroll to deliver to Maar Gan, but you will return to Balmora.
5. Return to Nileno in Balmora and give her the scroll.

House Hlaalu - Alchemical Formulas

House Reputation Gain: 5

Nileno wants you to acquire alchemical formulas from Aurane Frernis's shop in the Foreign Quarter of Vivec.

1. Travel to Vivec (silt strider or Mage's Guild to Foreign Quarter).
2. Locate Aurane Frernis's apothecary on the west side of the Lower Waistworks, near Jobasha's Rare Books.
3. Steal the scroll containing the alchemical formulae closest to the door. A 100 bounty will be incurred.
4. If you have a Thieves Guild membership, visit a steward to clear the bounty.
5. Return to Nileno in Hlaalu Manor.

House Hlaalu - Inanius Egg Mine

Global Reputation Gain: 1

Nileno tasks you with destroying a rival's egg mine east of Suran by killing the kwama queen.

1. Travel to Suran via silt strider.
2. Ask about the Inanius Egg Mine; you'll learn it's owned by the governor of Suran, Avon Oran.
3. Option 1 (Peaceful): Speak to Avon Oran in his manor west of the temple. He offers 1000 drakes to leave the mine alone. Accepting this quest results in no rewards or promotion from Nileno.
4. Option 2 (Combat): Follow the road south from Suran, past Avon Oran's manor, into the Molag Amur region. Locate the mine amongst the hills.
5. Enter the mine, kill the kwama workers, navigate through a watery cavern (crossing via a log), and kill the kwama queen.
6. Return to Nileno.

After this quest, you can choose between the 'Guar Hide Squeeze' or 'Death of Ralen Hlaalo' quests.
