Detective Points (DP) are awarded for completing tasks as part of the SSS, similar to BP in Trails in the Sky and AP in Trails of Cold Steel. DP is earned through completing Quests, making specific dialogue choices, and fulfilling optional objectives in boss battles. DP is missable, and earning the top rank requires careful attention to these events.

Chapter 1 Day 1 DP:

Main Story Events:

• Monster Damage Investigation: Examine the wooden boxes and railing to the left after deciding to report to Cecile. (2 DP)

Side Quest Events:

• Overdue Book Retrieval: Available at the start of the day. (3 DP)
• Hunting for Ingredients: Available at the start of the day. (6 DP)
• Assistance With New Service: Available at the start of the day. (3 DP)
• Search for the Kitten’s Owner (Hidden): Available when returning from Armorica Village. (5 DP)

Chapter 1 Day 2 DP:

Main Story Events:

• Monster Damage Investigation (Leaving the tunnel): Witness both the howl and the appearance (3rd condition). (2 DP)
• Monster Damage Investigation (Mainz Village meeting): Determine the monsters' objective (3rd condition). (3 DP)

• Monster Damage Investigation: Complete the Request at the end of the chapter. (5 DP)

Side Quest Events:
