Guardian Force Drill Participation

Examine the computer in the SSS HQ at the start of Chapter 2 to accept the Guardian Force Drill Participation request.

Travel to East Crossbell Highway. Consider taking the bus to Bus Stop (Fork) and heading east through new areas to discover new monster entries and open chests before proceeding to Tangram Gate.

At Tangram Gate, enter the main building and go to the second room on your left.

If your CP is not at maximum (200 CP), use the Inn next door to recover.

Take the western exit, find the stairs leading up, follow the eastern corridor, and enter the room at the end to find Deputy Commander Baelz. Save your game before speaking to her.

You will need to win two battles against Guardian Force rookies.

First Battle: You will face three Recruit - Halberds and one Recruit - Assault Rifle. Use Randy's Crash Bomb Craft to inflict Blind on all enemies, as they primarily use regular attacks. Prioritize defeating the Recruit - Assault Rifle first, then use area-of-effect Arts from Tio and Elie to defeat the remaining enemies.

Second Battle: This battle is similar to the first, but Sergeant Major Seeker will join the enemy team. Scan Seeker at the start. Use Randy's Crash Bomb to blind the Recruits, but Seeker appears resistant to Blind. Focus your attacks on Seeker. If you have sufficient CP, use Lloyd's S-Break followed by Tio's or Randy's S-Break to defeat Seeker quickly. Then, deal with the blinded Recruits.
