Learn how to start and complete the hidden Geofront A2 Sector Monster Extermination request in The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero. Protect KeA and defeat the Golden Cricket!
Alright, so you're in the Intermission, and it's time to tackle some of those hidden requests. This one, the 'Geofront A2 Sector Monster Extermination,' is a bit special because you can't just grab it from the computer. You'll need to go find the client yourself!
How to Start:
First things first, head over to the Administrative District and make your way into the Crossbell Police Department (CPD). Once you're inside, find Receptionist Rebecca and chat with her. You'll need to speak to her twice. After the second conversation, she'll let you know about a monster sighting, and the request will pop up in your Detective Notebook. Easy peasy!
How to Complete:
Now that you've got the request, it's time to head back to the Geofront. Remember those shortcuts? Use them! Head to Station Street, enter the Geofront, and make your way to the Recharge Station. From there, go east, then north past the first elevator to find another one that takes you down to A2. Once you exit that room and head south, you'll find the Golden Cricket chilling on a large platform. Get ready!
The Fight:
This fight isn't too bad, but there's one crucial thing to remember: KeA cannot die. If she goes down, it's game over. So, before the battle starts, make sure you position your main party members at the front of the Tactics screen. Even though KeA is in the battle, she's acting as support. She'll either buff your Strength and Speed or summon Zeit to help out with an attack that does about 400 HP damage to the Golden Cricket.
The Golden Cricket's main move to watch out for is called Dissonance. It's a big Area of Effect (AoE) attack that can hit for around 650+ HP and also inflicts Strength Down. This is why you want your two main fighters nowhere near the Golden Cricket when it uses this. Luckily, it's weak to Blind. If Randy is your partner, now's the time to use his Crash Bomb to try and blind it!
Also, the Golden Cricket is weak to Fire. So, if Elie or Tio is with you, focus on blasting it with high-level Fire Arts. And as always, don't forget about S-Breaks, especially if you've managed to save up 200 CP. The Golden Cricket only has about 5008 HP on Normal difficulty, so it shouldn't take too long to defeat. Just keep an eye on KeA and you'll be fine!
