It's totally optional, so try to knock it out early before you hop on that boat to Mishelam, because once you're on it, there's no going back!

To get started, just head to the SSS HQ and check the computer. Once you've got the intel, make your way to City Hall in the Administrative District. Head upstairs, and you'll find Chief Clipp in a bit of a panic. Turns out, a famous statue has vanished, and the culprit? None other than Phantom Thief B, a familiar face if you've played the Sky or Cold Steel games.

This request is pretty straightforward, kind of like a treasure hunt. Phantom Thief B leaves behind clues, and each one will lead you closer to the stolen item. If you're new to the series, these clues can be a fun puzzle to solve, but if you just want to get it done, here's the breakdown:

• Station Street: Head into the Geofront's A Sector. Follow the path until you see stairs leading to a ladder. Climb that ladder, and then search inside the bell – you'll find the first clue there.
• East Street: Go to the Fisherman's Guild and head upstairs. Look for a big fish tank; examining it will prompt Kopan to fish out the next clue for you.
• Downtown District: This one's a bit of a brain teaser. You'll need to figure out that the numbers correspond to letters of the alphabet, spelling out Ignis. Once you're there, check the speaker at the back to snag the next clue.
• Crossbell Airport: You might not have visited here yet, as the game hasn't really sent you this way. To get there, exit through the south gate and head east. Inside the airport, talk to the worker by the luggage belt to find the next clue.
• Harbor District: Make your way to the Harbor District and go into the Crossbell News Service building. Instead of going up the stairs, go through the door next to them. On the east side of the room, check the golden plaques to find the final clue.
• Residential District: Head to Elie's house. You'll find it by going down the slope and taking the last house on the left. Inside, go upstairs and into the room on the right. Bingo! The statue is there.

After the cutscenes wrap up, you'll automatically be back at City Hall. Chief Clipp will thank you and hand over a Sagittarius Gem as a bonus. It turns out the Chief himself was Phantom Thief B all along!
