Quest Items & Essential Gear

These items are crucial for story progression or provide fundamental abilities. You'll acquire most of these automatically as you advance through the main questline.

• Goddess Sword / Master Sword: Your primary weapon. The Goddess Sword is bestowed upon you early in Skyloft, and it evolves into the legendary Master Sword as you imbue it with Sacred Flames. Its sword beams are invaluable for ranged attacks and puzzle solving.
• Sailcloth: Received from Zelda during the Wing Ceremony. This allows Link to glide safely from high places. Essential for traversing the Sky and descending to the Surface. Remember to deploy it by pressing the designated button (typically B on the Switch) just before impact.
• Slingshot: Your first ranged weapon, found in Skyview Temple. It fires Deku Seeds, useful for stunning enemies, activating distant switches, and knocking down items from trees. Upgrade it at the Bazaar for increased effectiveness.
