This section details the general locations and acquisition methods for many common and crucial items you'll encounter throughout your adventure. Remember that some items become accessible only after obtaining specific tools or progressing through the main story.

Consumables & Rupees

These items are frequently found and replenished, vital for health, stamina, and purchasing goods.

• Hearts: Restore a portion of your health.
  • Location: Dropped by defeated enemies, found in tall grass (cut with your sword), inside pots, and sometimes in treasure chests.
  • Strategy: Always cut grass and break pots in new areas to maximize heart collection, especially before challenging encounters.
• Stamina Fruit: Instantly refills your stamina gauge.
  • Location: Found in various environments, often near areas requiring stamina-based actions (climbing, dashing). Dropped by certain enemies.
  • Strategy: Keep an eye out for glowing, orange fruits. They are particularly useful during long climbs or when needing to sprint across dangerous terrain.
• Rupees: The currency of Hyrule, used to purchase items, upgrades, and services.
  • Location: Dropped by defeated enemies, found in tall grass, inside pots, treasure chests, and awarded for completing side quests. Different colored Rupees have different values (Green: 1, Blue: 5, Red: 20, Silver: 100, Gold: 300).
  • Strategy: Explore thoroughly! Many hidden Rupees can be found by bombing suspicious walls, pushing blocks, or solving environmental puzzles. check the insides of trees by rolling into them.

Crafting Materials & Treasures

These items are essential for upgrading your gear at the Bazaar's Gear Shop. Many are found in specific regions or dropped by certain enemy types.

• Amber Relic: A common treasure.
  • Location: Found frequently in Faron Woods and Skyview Temple. Often dropped by Bokoblins and other early-game enemies.
  • Strategy: Explore the forested areas thoroughly. You'll accumulate these quickly by defeating most enemies in Faron.
• Jelly Blob: A squishy, common material.
  • Location: Dropped by ChuChus (the gelatinous enemies) of all colors. Found in various regions, particularly Faron Woods and Eldin Volcano.
  • Strategy: Defeat every ChuChu you encounter. Their drops are consistent.
• Monster Horn: A sharp, valuable material.
  • Location: Dropped by Bokoblins (especially the larger variants) and other monster types. More common in later areas like Lanayru Desert.

  • Strategy: These are much rarer. Prioritize defeating Cursed Bokoblins whenever possible, and consider using the Treasure Medal to increase drop rates when farming.

Key Items & Tools (Early Game)

• Slingshot:
  • Location: Found within the Skyview Temple, early in the game.
  • Walkthrough: After navigating the initial corridors and defeating the first few Deku Babas, you'll enter a larger room with a central platform. The Slingshot is located in a treasure chest on this platform, accessible after solving a minor puzzle involving a switch or a vine climb.
• Bomb Bag:
  • Location: Acquired in Eldin Volcano.
  • Walkthrough: During your first visit to Eldin Volcano, you'll encounter a Mogma who has lost his Bomb Bag. He will eventually give it to you after you help him clear a path or retrieve an item. Later, you can purchase additional Bomb Bags from the Bazaar.
• Beetle:
  • Location: Found in Skyview Temple.
  • Walkthrough: After acquiring the Slingshot, you'll need to use it to activate a crystal switch. This will open a path leading to a room containing a treasure chest with the Beetle inside. It's an invaluable tool for scouting and retrieving distant items.
