    To the north, climb two ladders to find a frogbeast egg. Viktoria's creeping tendrils may hide useful supplies like vine arrows, moss arrows, and frogbeast eggs. Note the Rolling Machine in Bay A and its instruction manual.

    Follow the vines north past Factory Bays B & C, then climb a slope to find signs indicating Bay E and the Plans Room to the east. Head east towards the Plans Room.

    Continue north, past a Watcher and a patrolling Child, to reach a hallway with STORAGE ROOMS 1 & 2 and a Mechanist. Lockpick each door and collect items, especially ensuring you find at least 1 SIGNAL BOLT, 1 STEEL PLATE, 1 GAUGE, and 1 BANTAM NODE from Storage Room 2.

    Enter the PLANS ROOM to the north. On the main desk, find the PAPYRUS [OBJ 1] detailing the Guiding Beacon and the GUIDING BEACON BLUEPRINTS. Collect the KEY from the desk to open safes containing the REGULATING ROUND BLUEPRINTS and other useful blueprints for flares, mines, and scouting orbs. A frogbeast egg is in the north office, and Kelsus, Karras's chief engineer, is in the south office.

    SECRET #1: Shoot a vine arrow at a ceiling grate, climb onto the safes, and pull a lever near a stained glass window to open a secret hatch in the Plans Room floor. Drop down to read from the Scripture of the Master Builder. Pulling another lever behind the desk opens a gate for easier access to the Guiding Beacon platform. Follow the tunnel and pull another lever to open a hatch, then climb a ladder back to the Plans Room.

    Leave the Plans Room, collecting two water arrows from nearby plants.

    Head south to find the elevator leading to Factory Bay C.

    In Factory Bay C, locate the BELLOWING MACHINE east of the lift. Climb its ladder, select a SIGNAL BOLT from your inventory, and DROP IT INTO THE HOLE. Collect the STAGE 1 PIECE from the conveyor belt. Before leaving, read the diary entry from Manus on a corner table.
Tips
  • Spider robots can be disabled with water arrows, but their weak points are hard to see.
  • Ensure ingredients are fully inserted and correct when using the various machines.
  • Prioritize Potions for dealing with the numerous Children in the cathedral. Save gear for tougher areas like rooms with Sentries.
  • Metal grates and vent covers in ceilings can be shot with vine arrows to reach inaccessible areas, such as a flash bomb on a high ledge.
  • The Guiding Beacon requires several manufactured components: Stage 1 Piece, Regulating Round, Stage 2 Piece, Stage 3 Piece, and finally the Guiding Beacon itself.
