Find Bags of Spice, Davidson's Safe, and more in Part 8 of Thief 2: The Metal Age. Includes loot and secrets.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Locate the first Bag of Spice worth 20 GOODS (560/225/430|1215) [OBJ 2]. Use Davidson's Key to open the external door to the roof.
  2. 2
Move to the middle window on the roof and smash it. Drop down using a Slow-fall Potion (recommended equipment) to break your fall.
  3. 3
Drop into the hole to find a locked crate. Open it with Davidson's Key to find a flare, an Invisibility Potion, and your second Bag of Spice (560/225/450|1235) [OBJ 2].
  4. 4
Use the Building B Key to open the orange door for escape. A patrolling bowman with broadheads is in the south-west (PP 17).
  5. 5
Return to the main ground floor of Building B and go to the crates in the extreme south-east corner. Look up to see a chest on top. Use a rope arrow (if found) to reach it and pick the lock for a second rope arrow.
  6. 6
Next to the chest is another of Davidson's Crates containing your third Bag of Spice (560/225/470|1255) [OBJ 2].
  7. 7
Alternatively, reach this crate by going upstairs, through the east offices, and out to the east roof. Drop through the southernmost window (no Slow-fall needed).
  8. 8
From the chest platform, drop back to the main Building B floor. Grapple up the north stack of crates to find a hole with another of Davidson's Crates containing the fourth Bag of Spice (560/225/490|1275) [OBJ 2].
  9. 9
Explore the Building B warehouses. Warehouse 1/3 contains a non-functional Child in a big crate and a non-lootable golden statue. Warehouse 2 has a note from Blackrat.
  10. 10
Warehouse 4, upstairs, contains a Golden Urn worth 25 GOODS (560/225/515|1300), a Vase worth 20 GOODS (560/225/535|1320), and two Tapestries for 40 GOODS (560/225/575|1360). Another Vase is on a table for 20 GOODS (560/225/595|1380).
  11. 11
Go to Davidson's Cargo Ship. Circumvent the lone smuggler by going into the water to the west and finding the ladder to the stern.
  12. 12
Climb the ladder, turn the wheel, and flip the telescope to activate a secret.
  13. 13
On deck, pickpocket the smuggler for the fifth and final necessary Bag of Spice (560/225/615|1400) [OBJ 2] [PP 18].
  14. 14
Find a sixth Bag of Spice inside a nearby crate, next to two stowaway spiders and some food (560/225/635|1420) [OBJ 2].
  15. 15
Inside the ship, Davidson's Safe is open. Inside is a Bottle (560/225/660|1445) and a seventh Bag of Spice (560/225/680|1465) [OBJ 2].
  16. 16
The Candlestick nearby leads to (585/225/680|1490). Read the captain's log.
  17. 17
Swipe away both tapestries in this room to reveal two chests. Open them with Davidson's Key for combined contents at (685/225/705|1615) [SECRETS #13, #14].
  18. 18
Below decks, find a Bottle on a table worth 50 GOODS (685/225/755|1665).
  19. 19
Return to the crates at the north-west corner of the map [OBJ 4, 5].
Tips
  • Smashing windows can alert NPCs (non-player characters). Closing nearby iron doors can help mitigate this.
  • If you haven't been blackjack (non-lethally incapacitating) everyone, expect increased interest from guards when making noise.
  • The figurehead strapped to the prow of Davidson's Cargo Ship is notable.
  • The maximum loot for this mission is 1378 GOODS.
