Learn how to change your Tower of Fantasy character's appearance, including gender, face, outfits, and Simulacra, using in-game menus and premium currencies.
Your gender choice in Tower of Fantasy is permanent upon server entry. After selecting your gender and creating a name, you'll start with a default character during the tutorial. Progress through the initial missions until you meet Sherly, who will guide you through quests leading to the Astra Shelter.
During the Astra Shelter quest, Sherly will direct you to Celine on the Bethlehem ship. This conversation will unlock the character creation screen, allowing you to customize your appearance. You can also import character IDs or load community-created designs. Confirm your choices to change your in-game look.
To change your appearance later, access the 'backpack' from the main menu. Navigate to the outfit button near your character's feet to modify outfits and accessories. Some outfits require Tanium (premium currency). Changing facial details costs Dark Crystals (another premium currency, earnable in-game).
Alternatively, you can change your appearance by using Simulacra. Once you unlock a Simulacra by obtaining its associated weapon via the gacha system, you unlock its appearance. Go to the Simulacra tab in the menu and select the unlocked Simulacra to adopt their look. To revert to your original character, simply untick the Simulacra button.
