Walkthrough for Until Dawn Chapter 5: Dread/Prey. Find the Chapel Keycard, collect clues like the Death Certificate, Name Tag, and Skull, and face the wolf.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
After navigating past a trap, proceed through the doors into the morgue.
  2. 2
Search the leftmost door and pull out the body to find the CHAPEL KEYCARD.
  3. 3
Check the next door to find 1952 CLUE #13: DEATH CERTIFICATE in the right-most of the two examinable freezers on the left.
  4. 4
Open the next door on the right to find 1952 CLUE #11: NAME TAG in the only examinable freezer on that side.
  5. 5
On the right side of the room, examine the shelf next to the door requiring the keycard to find a skull in a jar, which is 1952 CLUE #12.
  6. 6
Use the CHAPEL KEYCARD on the door next to the shelf to enter a stairwell.
  7. 7
Ascend the stairs. A wolf will appear and chase Mike. Close the door behind you to escape. This may trigger a Butterfly Effect update.
  8. 8
If you go right, you'll find stairs leading to a drop. Drop down to return to the entrance hall.
  9. 9
Head to the Chapel and use your keycard to enter.
  10. 10
You will be presented with a choice: kick the wolf or let the timer run out. Do not kick the wolf. Let the timer expire.
Tips
  • There is no benefit to kicking the wolf; it only leads to negative outcomes.
  • If you let the timer run out, the wolf will be less wary of Mike and more trusting.

Butterfly Effect Updates:

  • AT WHAT PRICE: Triggered if Mike reached the morgue AND still had a usable machete.
  • MAN'S BEST FRIEND: Triggered based on whether Mike kicked the wolf or let the timer run out.
    • If you kick the wolf: Mike kicked the wolf, making it distrustful.
    • If you let the timer run out: Mike didn't kick the wolf, making it more trusting.
