Sam must navigate a dramatic climbing sequence. The QTEs vary depending on the player's choice between 'LEAP' and 'CLIMB'.

Option 1: LEAP

1. Press the O BUTTON.
2. Press the SQUARE BUTTON.
3. Press the TRIANGLE BUTTON.
4. Press the O BUTTON.

Option 2: CLIMB

1. Press the TRIANGLE BUTTON.
2. Press the O BUTTON.

After the initial choice, further QTEs depend on the chosen path:

• LEAP to OUTCROP:
  1. Press SQUARE.
  2. Press TRIANGLE.
  3. Press O.
  4. Press O.
• JUMP to LEDGE:
  1. Press SQUARE.
  2. Press TRIANGLE.
• CLIMB AROUND:
  1. Press O.
  2. Press SQUARE.
• CLIMB TO OUTCROP:
  1. Press O.
  2. Press TRIANGLE.

Sam reaches the top after successfully completing these QTEs.

At the Top:

At the top, Sam has two directions: drop left or go up the stairs right. To collect all CLUES, go up the stairs to the right.

If You Go Up the Stairs on the Right:

1. Go up the stairs. Boulders will fall, breaking steps behind you.
2. Walk along the wooden walkway. Go straight ahead (do not go left at a turning) and up the stairs.
3. In the little cavern, go left to find a DEATH TOTEM (#6).
4. You can also examine a wall with items of interest.
