Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness Part 11 walkthrough covering objectives like destroying everything and keeping Teron alive. Includes New Stormwind.
- 1Focus on collecting resources from the middle trees. Avoid the east and west trees initially due to griffin activity.
- 2Do not build a Barracks yet, as you cannot get reinforcements.
- 3Construct numerous archer towers along the north tree wall on both sides to defend against incoming griffins from the purple faction.
- 4Keep your death knight nearby to use Death Coil if the situation becomes dangerous before towers are fully established.
- 5Be prepared for blue faction to send small squads through either of the two eastern rock entrances (directly east and from the north east).
- 6Once towers are in place and at least one set of upgrades is complete, build a Barracks.
- 7Use the Barracks to get the Stronghold, even if you cannot produce troops yet.
- 8Note that your initial mine is small. An additional, unused mine is located to the north of the blue faction's starting position.
- 9After building the ogre lair, begin constructing farms. If you are losing many troops, you may need to build farms earlier.
- 10Once you have enough food, build three catapults and prepare to attack north.
- 11Wait for an attack from the north, then advance and destroy the small blue settlement there.
- 12Do not move into the destroyed settlement unless you are out of gold. This action will primarily result in griffins attacking from that direction.
- 13When your gold supply dwindles, advance and establish a new line of archer towers in the newly captured area, along with a town hall.
- 14Be aware that the blue faction may approach from the east trees; position towers accordingly.
- 15With the new settlement defended and your attack force rebuilt, draw the paladins out of the two rock tunnels.
- 16Attack the blue faction, either by advancing down the tunnels or from the north of your new base. Attacking from the top allows for a simultaneous troop deployment.
- 17Be ready for a small group of blue troops located north of the blue's top entrance if they activate.
- 18Destroy the blue faction and claim the mine located north of the eastern rock formation. The blue faction may have already been mining it.
- 19Rebuild your force and head north. You can optionally attack the purple faction, but it is not required to win.
- 20With a full attack force and careful play, your town becomes less critical. Proceed north, destroy the defenders, claim the dragons, and win the level.
New Stormwind Objectives: Destroy Everything. Teron Must Survive.
Walkthrough (New Stormwind):
- You begin in the bottom right. Blue is concentrated in the top left with smaller groups scattered across the map. Purple starts enclosed in the bottom left and is only reachable by flying units or bombers.
- Purple will primarily send griffins from the left. Blue will send a variety of units, including griffins and mages.
- The starting area is surrounded by trees. Place towers along the rock wall to the left to defend against purple's griffin attacks.
- Blue will mostly advance down the left-hand diagonal opening, but be prepared for them to use the other entrance. Ensure your base defenses are robust.
- Use Teron initially to intercept griffins while you build towers. As soon as the first blue knight appears, retreat Teron to the back corner.
- Blue starts with a church, leading to a short interval between sending knights and paladins. Avoid losing Teron.
- When you have sufficient gold, build towers halfway up the right-hand diagonal opening. This will deter blue troops and occasional griffins using that path. It also forces blue mages to advance within range of your left-hand towers before using spells like fireball on your right-hand towers.
- Once you have spotters, place one in the bottom left to scout purple's mine.
- With a reasonable force, advance north and defeat the blue troops (a few knights and archers). You can lure them back to your towers.
- North of these troops is a second mine and a river crossing. Secure this mine with numerous towers, as it is on both blue's main griffin route and purple's backup griffin route, but not blue's troop route.
- When the peasant slaughter begins at the second mine, have death knights (not Teron) ready to raise skeletons. Use these skeletons as scouts to locate the three or so groups of blue troops in the top right corner.
- The skeletons will be targeted by paladins' exorcism, allowing your main troops to engage without the healing delay.
- When purple's mine is depleted and griffin threats are reduced, build a strong force and attack blue's town. Consider sending skeletons ahead to neutralize paladins.
- Advance through blue's town and destroy all buildings. Be aware that remaining blue troops will converge once the last building falls; save one farm and hunt them down.
- Purple, being a griffin-focused enemy, typically has fewer, less-upgraded troops. You can weaken them further with Death and Decay across the rock wall.
- Use bombers to breach purple's wall and destroy their settlement to win the level.
Seas of Azeroth Objectives: Build five Shipyards. Destroy all enemy ships.
Walkthrough (Seas of Azeroth):
You start on the middle right. Blue is on the same island in the bottom middle. Green is on two small islands in the top left and middle left, with numerous ships in the water.
