Remains of the Dark Age

Follow the path until you encounter a Deff Dread Ork. Use melta-bombs and keep moving while attacking to defeat it.

Proceed to the beacon. Before capturing it, use Orbital Bombardment on the large Ork battle to the left to eliminate most enemies.

Capture the beacon and proceed to find the power cell. You will have a choice of three locations; the middle one contains the power cell. It is recommended to defeat all enemies in the area to gain experience for the next mission. Be aware of Stormboys dropping in.

Once the power cell is obtained, return it to power the array.

To complete the optional objective and fight the Lictor, head northeast and kill the Orks. Activate the generator to open the wall.

Before climbing the steps to the Lictor's area, use Orbital Bombardment or other explosives on the ruins to destroy enemy cover.

Head up the steps. The Lictor is an easy boss with low health, but it can hide in bushes to heal.

After damaging the Lictor by about a third, it will attempt to heal. Use grenades, the Dreadnought's ranged attack, or other explosives to destroy all nearby bushes, preventing its healing. Continue attacking to defeat it.
