Alright, let's talk about keeping the air fresh in your sub. The Oxygen Generator is one of those vital pieces of equipment you absolutely don't want to mess with. Think of it as the lungs of your submarine – it pumps oxygen throughout the vessel, making sure everyone can breathe easy.

Here's the lowdown:

How it Works:
The generator actively pumps oxygen into the submarine's atmosphere. This oxygen then travels through vents to reach all the different rooms. As long as the generator has power, it'll keep the air breathable. Easy peasy.

Oxygen Tanks:
This machine has 5 slots for Oxygen Tanks. When the generator is powered up, it'll refill these tanks. This is super important! If the generator suddenly loses power (and trust me, that can happen!), the airflow stops. If you don't have a backup, your crew will eventually start to suffocate. Having a full tank attached to your Diving Mask or Diving Suit can buy you some precious time to get the generator back online, but it's not a permanent solution.

Power Hungry:
Be aware, this thing sips power – it needs a hefty 1000 kW. Make sure your reactor or power grid can handle it, especially when you've got other systems running.

Connection Panel:
You'll need to connect a power source to the `power_in` port on its connection panel. It's pretty straightforward, but always double-check your wiring, especially during a chaotic mission.

Important Warning: Fire Hazard!
If a fire breaks out near the Oxygen Generator, and it starts to burn, it can explode! This is extra dangerous if you have Oxygen Tanks stored in it. Try to put out fires near it ASAP or vent the area if you can.

Shuttle Oxygen Generator:
You might also find a smaller version on some shuttles. It works the same way, just a bit more compact and it doesn't visually show the Oxygen Tanks being refilled.
